Goals Software Creation Help

I am in the process of having a simple nightly goals checklist script written. The software is combined with a live accountability partner. I would be greatly interested in learning what features you think would be beneficial.

Since most people who start using goals software quickly stop, what do you think I could add to make the users keep returning. My main points so far are keeping it very simple and awarding prize drawings for users who log in to the software a certain number of times a month.

You input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeff

    It's called conversion optimization.
You need to review preferrably with a group of special team what makes your users stay and what makes them go away and then you can make your website or product more attractive, hence get more users to visit or stay or buy your product.

      Hey Gptreasure,

Thanks for the input, I was thinking a little more on the personal side though. Have you ever tried using a goals software to track and implement your goals?

      Thanks
      Jeff

These days it's pretty obvious that this software should extend to the mobile realm... if not begin there from the first place. It's a more convenient way, and people are always on their phones. Perhaps push notifiers (little numbers that pop up on the icon, like on an iphone) will remind them that they need to open the app and check their progress.

Personally in my opinion this has MOBILE written all over it.
