Eker's word always mind blowing each time in the seminar around the world.
His favourite quote , especially mine personal favourite quote, " I have a millionaire mind"

Especially first quote, " I create my life " , without create your own life, your life is boring and without adventure at all, just like a robot. Agree ? I guess I don't need to say too.. hehe =)

The first belief is so powerful.
1. I create my life , I create the exact amount of my financial success

Motivation is a key force and it's fed when we believe we have control over events; in this case our life.
It is in many cases the only difference between an excellent employee or an entrepreneur and somebody who just goes through the motions.

So the power of this belief is the first step towards achievement.

The first point is very crisp!

We certainly do create our everything, for sure.

I haven't been to one of his Seminars, but I 'd be having a guess, his teachings would be similar to others in this field? Dr John Demartini etc

I'm a great fan of those teachers.

The thing is we are continually on the grow.

We are such complex creatures, I really am filled with wonderment at how we survive at all!

What was your attitude when you went to the seminar?
Was it just to take?
Or was it to network?
Was it to give?

I notice you have not given one person in this forum a thank you for their contribution either.

Forums are places to share, to give and contribute.
Usually at least a well thought out answer... longer than one line!

Just trying to get post counts up, doesn't do it.

Share your best info with people.
Be generous...
Then you may find, attending a seminar has a whole lot more meaning for you!

Those seem pretty good. I recommend you look into Brian Tracy and perhaps Tony Robbins as well if you like that self-help kinda stuff. Both have some pretty good material.

For those of you who haven't attended the seminar/ bought the CDs, here's the complete list of his "money declarations" (say these out loud daily right after you wake up)

Really like T Harv Eker! His book is so far the best self help book I've read - The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind - Highly recommended for those who haven't. The book is life transforming and believe it or not, it took me more than a month to complete the 400 odd paged book! It's so much advanced and convincing. Gave it to a few old work buddies and a few returned it saying it's too stressful to read! haha

Haha Millionaire Mind Intensive is awesome! Had soo much fun and really learnt a lot about how our mindset holds us back.. His book 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" i also a good read. It expands on and adds to the empowering beliefs that Tony posted above.

One of my favorite beliefs from the book is:
Poor people think "either/or." Rich people think "both."

Robert Kiyosaki also talks about this. Poor people think, "I can't afford it". rich people think "HOW can I afford it?"

Very powerful stuff...

I've seen him on YouTube a few times and read his book. I like how he said that when we grow up, people around us usually say money is the root of all evil and all that negative sayings make us subconsciously not attract money.

So that was an eye-opener, and very true. The Harv Eker is a great speaker.

I took responsibility , I said for 90 days straight .Initially, Nothing happened because deep down i didnt really want things to change .I fancied having more success in my life but I was kind of ok with where i was

But .. I kept listening to T harv Eker and then started taking action and things slowly improved in my life . I lost weight and I made my first $10,000 online and then found about the existing world of IM

It is true . There are 10.I still have my money declaration in my wallet ... yes there are 10 but i didn't want to overwhelm people with 10 things . I am a simple guy . three things i can remember .5 things is really pushing things.

10 things is like way too much for the first glance ... Just saying how i feel personally . A bit at a time not to put others off

What you FOCUS on EXPANDS!

So don't focus on all the negative things in your life and all the things you DON'T have, because you will just get more negative things, or you will just feel bad on why you don't have all these things.

Instead practice gratitude and be grateful for every single thing we are blessed to have on this earth. The fact that we are alive, the fact that we have family, friends, our body, our education, opportunities etc.

I missed this in your original post, but caught it lower down the page again. This is sooooo critical, because many - like myself - get good at the earning part, but it all disappears so soon afterwards. I am going to incorporate this statement into my daily life.

Thanks for reminding me of the importance of planting and cultivating positive thoughts. Your mind is like a garden and if you don't nurture it, the 'weeds' will start cropping up and choking off the empowering thoughts. Maintaining a positive mental climate takes daily effort, but it's a small price to pay for staying in control of your life and your outlook.

I am going to this event next weekend. I have read the book countless time the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and listened to it as well. It sounds like this seminar is worth the time. I will let you know what I learned once I have attended it. The long hours and the sales pitching I have heard there is has kind of made me reconsider going.

Is this really worth the time to go? I am not one that enjoys sitting for long periods of time but will do it if it is worth it. Do you learn a lot more than you would by just reading the book?

I do not have anything to add to this thread, but WOW. I do appreciate the share. I try to start every day with a quote of some sort or anything that will put me into a positive mindset. These two points really resonate with me.

I went about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe in 2007?
It is a superb event. Yes, there is a sales pitch, but he doesn't beat
you over the head with it like some timeshares do.

More importantly, the content is superb, and you're surrounded
by hundreds of excellent people that you can network with and
create joint ventures with. Absolutely a great investment,
and I made a couple of really great friends there.

Pick up a copy of the CDs, he reads them himself and it's great hearing
them in his voice... He has a great sense of humor. There is also a ton
of other great content, for me Secrets of the Millionaire Mind sits on the
Top Shelf next to only a few other educational resources, such as
Think & Grow Rich, How to Win Friends & Influence People, and
a few others.
