IM Advice From Star Wars

"Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." -Yoda

IM application: In IM at some point you WILL fail and you WILL be criticized. If you have a fear of these things then when they happen you will get angry and tempted to give up and suffer as the result.



"Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is." -Yoda

IM application: Keep it simple. Never forget the elementary principles like supply and demand, creating value in the lives of others, etc.



"Always two there are, a master and an apprentice." -Yoda

IM application: Don't go at it alone. You need a mentor/partner/master mind team.



The next two go together:
"I find your lack of faith disturbing." -Darth Vader
"[Luke:] I can't believe it. [Yoda:] That is why you fail."

IM application: Yes, you can succeed in IM, but you have to have faith that you can and WILL! One of the chapters in "Think and Grow Rich" is all about faith. Vader, Yoda, and Napoleon Hill are all in unison when it comes to the power and importance of faith, so you can take it to the bank!



"Mmm. Lost a planet, Master Obi-Wan has. How embarrassing. How embarrassing." -Yoda

IM application: Even the IM Jedi masters have embarrassing moments. So don't sweat it when you do too.



"A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack." -Yoda

IM application: Use the force of IM to accomplish good and fulfill your purpose in life, not solely to make money. But yes, make lots of money in the process.



"Beware of the dark side." -Yoda

Watch out for scams and black hat tactics.



"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?" -Yoda

IM application: No matter how "small" you think you are, you have the power for greatness within you and can succeed every bit as much as the big time gurus.



"Ready are you? What know you of ready?" -Yoda

IM application: Complete your training. Spend a lot of time learning. If you rush off to fight Vader before you know what you're doing you might lose an arm. But if you insist and do so, get another one and pick yourself back up and keep going.
