Why Warriors Shouldnt Give Up...

Pretty cliche right? The title that is...

On a serious note, there are several reasons why you shouldnt give up; give up what? - Your goals...your hopes... your dreams...

We all go through things in life that may bring our confidence and self esteem down; everyday we may go through something that completely demolishes the building blocks we call hope, but yet everyday is a day we can remodel those blocks back up and return stronger to take on the world the next day that's given to us.

Look at yourself, then look at many of those around the world that dont have what you have, and think; "Those people are still going mentally and physically after all the hardships they may have gone through. IIf they can accomplish such a large task, then there's no reason for me to pity myself and allow my being to suffer".

Warriors, it doesnt matter what your troubles are, whether financial, family-oriented, or whatever has put you in what may seem to be the deepest ditch known to man; just know that there is always a light at the end of a tunnel, even if it may seem to be as narrow one of those red coffee straws that technically arent even designed to sip coffee(they're used to stir coffee for those that dont know)...

You are correct Morrison. You will never win if you quit or give up for something you want to attain.

Thinking of others and knowing there are those out there who have it worse than you is part of being grateful. Once you're grateful for what you truly have the dips in the road don't seem so bad anymore even if they're the same dips.
It's truly about perspective. You can let things eat at you, immobilize you, even cripple you, or you can put them behind you and keep going. Only one way will lead you to your goals and dreams. Only one way makes it possible to win at the game of life.

Haha... it's true that with every possibility that opens up, other possibilities present themselves that you may have not seen before (like the coffee stirrer that many have used as straws - I've seen it).

Great message though - giving up shouldn't be an option. If you are hungry enough, you will get there. Just keep that hunger alive (that's often the challenge).

Thanks Dwayne: Giving up is embracing failure. Ironically, success is the result of the way we think. If we think failure that's what we get. The Universe always responds to our thoughts.

As a warrior, I believe that if there are any challenge that are placed in our way, it only means that we can still become better than what we are at present.

I'm the type who worries a lot, so that is a quote I need to start keeping in mind. Thanks!

Tammy, I know it is hard to hear this, and I'm sure you have heard it before, but worry gets you nowhere. In lieu of worrying, force yourself to think of more ways to get to where you want to go in life and take action!

Over the years I have done an awful lot of things. As a teenager I used to box, not to a great standard, but I always harbored ambitions to box professionally one day as an adult, sadly due to eyesight problems it never happened.

In the ring we were always trained to never give up, as we were taught to give up was not in the warriors creed.

To me that was the most important lesson I ever learned, and whatever I have done, I can honestly say that no matter how difficult something is, and yes I have had thoughts about quitting IM, and other things, but I have never given up, and always been successful at whatever I chose.

So remember this phrase.....winners never quit, and quitters never win.

When you are down, this phrase will help you overcome whatever you feel you can't, and if that never works, then talk to someone who has positive energy, five minutes with them, and you notice the change in yourself.

    Hope this helps people.

If you give up you have NO chance of success. If you do not give up, then you likely at least have a small chance at success... and possibly much more of a chance!

One reason to not give up is because your efforts are slowly working their way to making you sales. It may take months, but then one day you wake and check your accounts....and Wow!

So, just because you don't see immediate results doesn't mean you're not making inroads. Keep working at it, have faith and don't give up.

I'm not where I want to be, yet, but I have the vision.

Just think where this world would be in the late great Steve Jobs gave up when he got fired from Apple?? U just need to put your head down and charge forward.

A lot of times the only thing that is stopping you from reaching your goals is you! Sounds odd, but have you ever caught yourself doubting yourself or thinking that something won't work before you even try it? Great rid of those thoughts and try your best anyways!
