Motivation tips that actually works.

Before every decision we make, or action we take (be it sub-consciously or intentionally), there is one thing that drives us to do so.

And that is MOTIVATION.

Take for example...

It has always been said that the hardest part of the journey is always taking that first step.

As all you fellow internet marketers or entrepreneurs alike, surely you remember how you feel when you first decided that you would decide to dive into the world of online business?

The uncertainty, the doubt, the worry, the tension must have filled you and yet you DID take the first step.

So what made you want to venture into unknown and uncharted territory?

I bet it wasn't bravery. Okay, maybe it took guts, but think again....what REALLY made you brave in the first place?

What made you brave enough to take the risk?
What made you think that it was WORTH the risk?

That my friend, was MOTIVATION. The motivation to succeed, the motivation to achieve something, the motivation to reach your goal in life, be it either to succeed, or to lead a life free from financial woes, or it could be anything. But for whatever reason that may be, it has gotten you this far in life.

Once a while, we get so caught up in what we are currently doing, we actually forget why we are doing it in the first place. You'll forget what motivated you.

When that happens, you forget what drives you, you'll start to lose focus, easily get distracted and eventually you will lose sight of your goals.

You are so engrossed in the little details you lose the bigger picture. When it comes to this, you have to take a step back and get things back into perspective. So kick back and think why you are doing what you are doing.

It's time to RE-MOTIVATE yourself.

Think of motivation as a fire. As like all fires they can die out.

The good news is that fires can be RE-ignited and they can burn even BIGGER and BRIGHTER than before.

RE-MOTIVATION is especially important when you hit a low point in your life (or even business). I'm certain any successful online entrepreneur has their fair share of being down in the dumps, be it because of bad business, made a bad business decision or investment and such.

What is important is not what got them there, but what's more important is what got them out. The will to learn from their mistakes, find a solution, work around their problems and to pull themselves out from that dark place and keep them heading towards their goal. This takes motivation.

That is how powerful motivation is.

Motivation is such a powerful factor in people's lives it can most definitely help them lead a fulfilled and beneficial life.

In other cases, people may have already gotten to where they want to be in life and have been content for some time, but as humans, we can't be truly happy without any sense of purpose.

But I cannot tell you exactly what motivates you (or each and every one of us as for that matter) as it is very subjective and also RELATIVE. But I can tell you that it is definitely out there.

YOUR driving force. YOUR source of motivation.

If you can find what really motivates YOU, then you have found yourself a very powerful tool in life.

Here are some ways which can prove to be useful in RE-MOTIVATING yourself :

Inspiring Individuals

There are many living and breathing individuals out there who are currently living their dream. They have gotten to where they wanted to be in life and they couldn't be happier.

Many of them started with even LESS than what most of us have now and look at them now. Their stories are nothing short of inspirational which inspires just about everyone and anyone.

Their success can be a great source of inspiration and motivation.

Breaking it Down

You may not reach your ULTIMATE goal in life just overnight. But rest assured all the little steps needed to reach it can be turned into mini-goals themselves.

When you list out the smaller steps which can help reach your ultimate goal, your goal won't seem so daunting anymore.

Tackling the goal bit by bit is a great way to help us build confidence and who knows...work can actually be FUN this way!

Reward Thyself

So you have these mini-milestones listed out. What to do you when you hit them? What else...CELEBRATE! Either by taking a break, a day off, going to the new restaurant you've been dying to try out, getting yourself a new toy/gadget.

You owe it to yourself reward yourself when you accomplish these mini-goals. A reward (no matter how small) can be a good motivation by itself.

Break The Routine

We humans aren't machines. We can break down mentally and physically from being overworked or in another term "BURNED OUT".

Then again, machines can also break down. It's important that we don't overwork ourselves to the point we are actually being counter-productive.

So what is one to do?

There is nothing more refreshing them doing something totally different from your daily routine. Have a place you have in mind that you've been thinking of going to? How bout a romantic weekend getaway with your love one?

When you find something that will break you from your daily routine, you'll find yourself more FRESH and eager when you return to work.

Working Out

Feeling overwhelmed? Cramped? Stuffed? Choked?

Feel like running away?

Maybe you can take your own advice.

How about a quick run or jog at the park or around neighborhood. The exercise will do you lots good. The fresh air and endorphins running through your body will have an anti-stress effect on you and you'll feel much more relaxed and happier after a good workout.

Exercise can also help keep your mind sharp, which is important to an entrepreneur.

In short, exercise BOOSTS your mood AND helps you get into shape. It's a WIN-WIN situation!

Words of the Wise

There's a saying never go to bed angry.

In the 20th century, it's more like never go to be stressed.

There's no point going to sleep if you spend the entire night tossing and turning because you can't sleep worrying about something.

The best remedy?

Read a good motivational book before you turn the lights out. Not only do they make you feel better, you'll find that you'll sleep better and if you sleep better, you can think better the next day.

When you're motivated, you are more enthusiastic, optimistic, passionate and focused because you know you're on the road that will lead to your goal(s).

There is nothing like a sense of fulfillment when achieving something, but each accomplishment is merely a milestone in life. Being Motivated (or RE-MOTIVATED) can be your driving force behind many more accomplishments to come.
