New Year's Resolution Check Point: Are You On Track or Off (and what are your plans to get back on)?
My New Year's resolution is to make a certain amount of money with IM each month. I've still got some time to make it for this month, but I discovered that I've been sabotaging myself. I like to research and create products, but I need to spend more time marketing them.
I've heard that 60% of your time should be spent marketing, 20% on product creation, 20% on admin tasks. I've been doing just the opposite, and it's a real trap. It "feels" like I'm being "productive", but products don't sell themselves just because you create them .
So my plan is to rev up my marketing and stop creating products for a while. I'm finally going to check out Twitter...I've been holding off because I've been telling myself I'd get too distracted from product creation! LOL!
So how are you guys doing?
