If you are poor or are not getting richer every year, it is because:

1. You've not yet decided to be rich...

2. You are ignorant of how wealth is created...

3. You don't believe that getting rich is science that has a mathematical formula. And anyone who applies this formula will get wealth...

4. You are bitter and have refused to forgive some people...

5. Or you are ignorant of the most important immutable universal laws.

Do you agree with all or one of the above?
#rich
  • I agree to most of what you said but also believe that luck and circumstances also play a huge role and can prevent you from becoming rich.

Great thought. And I guess the harder you work, the luckier you become.

In addition, and every generation has circumstances that can make anyone rich. But only few seem to see the opportunities.

What do think is the cause?
Why do people in similar circumstances end differently on the wealth scale?

I believe the "Awareness Test" videos on Youtube provide a clue. In my opinion, it depends on focus.

I have a very simple answer for this best illustrated by a box. As children there is no box. You have no fear of anything. As they grow society and physics impose restrictions on the child and slowly their fear grows. They get dropped into the box and so long as they stay in there they will not become rich, not reach their goals.
They let the box limit them.
The ones who become rich see the edges of the box, but don't care. Even when a problem doesn't have a solution within the box they know one sits just outside of it. They learn to think of ways in which to get what they want despite their circumstances, and when they start looking the way appears.
It's like searching for a new car. If you know what make model and color you want you suddenly see them everywhere. Beforehand you never noticed even though the same cars were still there.
The way people see things makes all of the difference.

That's very true about us living in a box. When we grow older we start thinking we cant do certain things, and if you think that way, guess what, it will turn out to be true.

Napoleon Bonaparte said - "Circumstances - what are circumstances? I make circumstances."
It's usually all in our subconscious programming. We think it has something to do with luck or circumstances, but actually we just sabotage ourselves. Because in our subconscious mind the goal of becoming rich is usually viewed as very problematic and even dangerous. Until those programs are not released, "luck" is not likely to happen.

      Thanks you for that insight.

I guess it depends on how you define "rich". Some people's lives are rich but they have not necessarily acquired financial wealth.

Assuming you define rich as an accumulation of wealth, no. I'm not rich but well on my way. And how much money do you have before you are considered rich?

Richness in life? Yes. I have a wonderful family and I am grateful for what I have today. I don't worry about what I can have tomorrow. I'm lucky that I can get up every morning and work at something I thoroughly enjoy. I can't even bring myself to mention the "w" word (work) because it's more fun than I ever anticipated. That's rich.

    1. You've not yet decided to be rich...
Yes, I have and as far as financially speaking, will be.

    2. You are ignorant of how wealth is created...
Not at all. I know exactly how wealth is created.

    3. You don't believe that getting rich is science that has a mathematical formula. And anyone who applies this formula will get wealth...

Yes, it is a form of science. But not just a mathematical formula but a combination with goals and a solid plan to reach your goals.

    4. You are bitter and have refused to forgive some people...
Never. I always forgive. I'm a Christian and I know that forgiveness brings peace. But that doesn't mean I have to forget.

    5. Or you are ignorant of the most important immutable universal laws.
    Not this either.

      .
Yes there is financial wealth and richness in life. I like the way you go on and state that you don't worry about tomorrow. That's living in faith and nothing works better than this.

Luck.. Yeah I don't believe in luck when it comes to business and making money. I guess you could say fortunate, or in the right place at the right time, but lucky? Im not so sure.

Lets say you went to a business networking group because you were invited. You ended up meeting some people and getting a new client just by chatting to them over a beer or two, and it was worth 50 grand.

Is that luck? I dont think so.

You had to make the decision to go to the meeting, and also participate and be yourself and mingle with people you didnt know which can be uncomfortable. You took initiative and were able to gain something out of a situation which was a simple conversation with someone.

Thats how I percieve it anyway.

Luck = Labour Under Constructive Knowledge.

    Remember it

When you read stories and know people who have come from nothing, or abuse or starving in other nations that have become successful and rich, it is then hard to say it is circumstances.

When you see people with burning desires to reach a goal make it in spite of one problem or disaster after another, it is hard to say they were lucky or that luck had anything to do with it.

It is by observation, something else. Something inside of a person who wants something so bad that nothing, not where they are or what they don't have or all the obstacles they have to face or anything else will keep them from what they want.

Every wealthy person I know has had so much hardship and problems that I'm sure the average person would have quit long ago and said it was just bad luck.

Once someone is wealthy and has everything and people know them, yes, then it looks easy and it would appear that they had luck when it was something else.

We make our own luck by our determination and dedication and unwavering persistence toward our goals.

Yes, agree, well unless they inherited the wealth but I understand what you mean. Hardship builds character and perseverence.

      This is a great observation.

It makes me think of marathon winners. Some top events pay a million dollars plus. On the surface we envy the winners for making money too easily- a million in under 2 hours twenty minutes. It looks too easy, immoral, unfair or unacceptable. Most people will call it luck.

What we never take note of is the time, discipline, desire that goes into preparing for the marathon.
