Falling into the Perfection Trap
Hi all,
It's been a long and frustrating Saturday morning and I thought I'd share a few thoughts around this in case other warriors come up against the same issue. Woke up at 8am and dived right into my new website project with a vengeance! Three hours later, I realise that I've just spent the whole morning trying to get my wordpress vertical menu the *exact* right colour to match my sheet background...
... yep, that's three hours.
Time for a break and some much needed soul-searching methinks.
Now, those three hours I spent...
... and there's always version 2.0

- Did they ensure I'd make any additional sales? NO!
- Did they make my product any better than it currently is? NO!
- Did they bring me any closer to my product launch? NO!
- Putting the finishing touches on my product? YES!
- Testing the site setup, emails, downloads, sales funnel etc? YES!
- Checking my affiliate links and banners are working? YES!
- Reviewing and improving my web copy? YES!
- Making plans for the launch and networking with fellow marketers? HELL YES...
... and there's always version 2.0
