First off I would like to say hello to everyone! This is my first post on the forum, I was a member on another forum, that was not very helpful. I met Sterday there and he directed me to this forum telling me it was much more novice friendly and that I would enjoy it much more so here I am!

Sorry for the long winded intro, the real reason I posted in this section of the forum was because I noticed that it was called Success, Power, and Self-Improvement, and it made me realize the main goal is Self-Improvement, with the goal of being able to improve not only my life but my families life either. I am at that stage in my life that im sure quite a few of us here have went threw where I just reciently got married, purchased my first house, and my wife and I just had our second kid. Being new in the "REAL WORLD" money is very tight, and I feel like im working a dead end job just to make ends meet. Ive always enjoyed working with computers, and surfing the internet, so I thought was better idea than trying to make extra cash online! So I wanted to start off by asking, are most of you here to try to make extra cash online? Micro-Niches have caught my eye and Im considering trying my hand at them, what is everyones favorite thing here? Anything you feel is extremely novice friendly?

I look forward to chatting much more, thank you for your time!

Being the kind of person that is happy clicking around online (etc.) - providing that it's constructive - can be a massive advantage considering that much of being a successful "Internet Marketer" requires a lot of time sitting at your computer.

And welcome to the forum. : )

Well i am no expert but if you want to learn this is a great site for it. Get reading would be my main advice, there's so much knowledge being put out there. search for terms like 'newbie guide' 'how to's' 'seo basics' 'marketing basics' etc and you'll be well on your way to making money.

    Nice to meet you!

About micro-niche. I think you should weigh pros and cons of going in the opposite direction and building an authority site (1 authority site vs. many micro-niche sites).

I've found it a lot easier to manage just 3-5 websites covering niche topics I'm interested in.

Hey Willie, I don't get. How many micro-niche sites do I have to build?
How many do you run currently?
Would I have to worry about setting up so much just to make enough off it? (if I have the flair for it)

Which one is the authority site? cud u post a link to one of yours?

I'd like to reveal but I really only have one site that is making me good money - I'm working on two more now and yeah I'm going to stop at 3 sites and 3 niches. My one site that is making me money has more than 30 pages of quality content on it. So I do consider that an authority site as opposed to the micro niche sites.

With these three sites I'm hoping to earn a few thousand per month.

I've registered lots of names in the past and tried doing micro niches and it didn't work for me. Plus with google algorithm changes it's hard to say how long lived those can stick around.

That's my own take on it - but remember I'm not a guru.

    Welcome to the forum

Micro niche site (affiliate marketing) is IMO the best way to get started online. I started with this method & have seen success so far.
