Believe it or not it was following being diagnosed with a very serious illness. It made me suddenly realise thats there's more to life than making money. So even though I still work as an internet marketer I tend to treat it as fun; when I stop enjoying I'll stop doing.

My epiphany is that the only limited resource on the planet is Time.

Which means... while I'm young, I'd rather find a way to make money + have fun.

In other words, no more "dead-end" business models with zero enjoyment of the process and zero self-development value (like Adsense).

Plus, I've decided to go BIG and dream BIG.

I think that's what millionaires say... you might as well dream big because you might as well get it.

    Hi Selfmadetycoon,

I had many many .... LOL

One of the biggest is probably that once in a while I should shut my mouth even when I think I have something of importance to say ....

That religions are not a thing to choose from. I'm sure that God does exist. But can't understand the religions.

Nobody is getting out of this game alive.

May seem pretty morose when you first read it; but think about it. You already know that one way or the other, your life is going to end. You can either whine and mope, or go do what you want to do and try to be the best you can be. What do you have to lose? The worst that can happen is you die, and you only have to do that once. I have found that this epiphany has been very liberating.

When I was 7 or something, I had this product idea but saw that it was released a few months after that idea. Quite weird, now that I don't even remember what that product is.

And the occasional thought of LIFE, end point, reincarnation...

      Mankind is my business

i realized that i dont see myself working 9-6 behind a desk 'till im old. I dont have delusions of grandeur that starting a small business will make me a millionaire in 1 or two years but i know that i should breakout from the chains of being a corporate slave. I know that entrepreneurship is really a lot of work but, i KNOW that it is my calling. :p

As far as IM is concerned:

An epiphany, or at least a discovery that I had a while back is that I have something to offer people. Before I started creating IM teaching products, I had a lot of doubt that anyone would actully be interested in what I had to say. Once I took the plunge and put my first product out there, I learned that I was completely off.

I found that since I sincerely make products to help people succeed, my customers are extremely grateful and many of them send me emails just to tell me how much they enjoy my courses.

It's very fulfilling to hear someone tell you that they just spent $1000 on someone else's course, and they like MY course so much better. It feels good to help people.

So the bottom line is, when you truly try to help people instead of trying to get their money with some thin, fluff product, they are very grateful.

The song Epiphany by Sweeney Todd.

"All right! You sir!? How about a shave!? >8D *brandishes razor*"

    Kidding. :p

For a more serious answer, I suppose the closest thing to an epiphany for me was when I started working. I can't really explain how but it kinda made me realize just how much fear has a hold in my life. It's almost choking.

Using work and what I earn from it has become a great motivation for me to finally boot it out of my head. I simply can't afford to let it stop me anymore when I have this much responsibility.
