How can we even make a difference?

This country was meant to be free with it's citizens to have certain inalienable rights allowing the pursuit of happiness. A government for the people by the people. There is strength in numbers. These men that were elected into power by the 'majority' (us) are continuing their irresponsible political game which has no regard for the 160 million of us being squeezed and suffocated due to their political standoff and insatiable greed.

This Congress keeps stalling and 'we the people' are being trampled on. How can we come together and take action? How can we make them hear our voices with the resounding sound needed to force them to listen to us, the people who put them in the place of power they are in? Enough is enough!

How can we effectively influence our own lives in the state not only our country is in but the world?

I guess making a big difference (in the country) starts by making a difference in each of our lives.
Also, the more people will epress their disagreement (peacefully and respectfully), the more power these persons will have.

Remember that, as you said, those powerful men were put there by our own decision, it can also be our decision to take them down of their high seats.

I just do not understand if we put them there why we don't take them out of the 'equation' when we are feeling the repercussions from their stalling tactics...but like Janelle posted...it could be worse...

Something you seem to be missing here: You have the power to vote them out of office. You want your voice to be heard? Election day is coming up. Consider yourself lucky, most in the world aren't even afforded that luxury.

    Joe made a point here,
We do have power to keep them or not. Of course it might not seem like you can DECIDE yourself which one you choose but remember that it all adds up and sometimes it's just a matter of dozens.
