I started to venture online in 2009. I was working at that time as a Payroll In-Charge in a manufacturing firm. After giving birth, it was hard for me to balance my time between family and career. As a Payroll In-Charge, it was difficult to ask the management for leave of absence every time I need to bring my son to his pediatrician. He developed rashes everywhere on his body and later we found out that it was symptoms of asthma.

While walking on a mall, I saw my ex-office mate. I approached her, just to say " hi ". We had a short conversation and she told me that she was working on-line. I don't have any idea at that time that it is possible to earn on-line. The next day when I checked my facebook account, I received a link from her, it was an odesk link. I spent my whole day, building my profile and taking exams, and applying for the job. After a week, I got my first job, it was $1 per hour for copy-paste. Unfortunately, my first employer gave me a low grade ( i tried my best to impress my employer ) and it becomes hard for me to look for another job. My friend told me to join their team and I received regular work from the team lead manager. I decided to quit my job in the company. I don't need to look for a job at odesk, the team manager will give me the job without me applying on it. But the disadvantage of it, I was only receiving very low payment. Team Manager will get her shares from my payment. I then looked for other way to earn from the internet.

I bought e-books, invest everywhere, Paid To Click, Paid to Post. My credit card debts reached more than $2000. I followed everything on what I read on ebooks but still I did not get a return for all my investments. I was about to quit on my on-line venture when I was scammed in onbux followed by vcbux ( PTC sites ), when I met a friend on-line. He guides me on how to make my first blog from keyword research, css, and html. He is working in an SEO company. He is a very busy person, so he just sent me the links for me to read and study.

I am confident now that I am on a right track. I need continuous learning. Thanks God that I also found this forum. When I have questions in my mind, fellow warriors are willing to help and answers my questions. I did not reach yet the pay-out in amazon, google adsense, chitika, and infolinks but I already have small earnings from amazon, google adsense, chitika and infolinks. I am working on backlinking now. I recently bought SEO pressor, magic submitter, and TheBestSpinner. I also have market samurai for keyword research.

I pray that 2012 will give me financial freedom ( free of debts ) and high earnings from blog.

Merry Christmas & Advance Happy New Year.

I hope you find your success online if this is really what you want.
Be careful when investing in all these different products you can get information overload.

It is better to focus on one thing at a time.
Good luck on your online journey.

Good luck, you have recognised where you may have made wrong turns in the past and thats a good first step.

One thing I would bear in mind is that a lot of people talk about the money that they have wasted on IM products. But provided you actually read that information and absorbed it, you may actually find that is more useful in your future than you realised.

Often I think we are not quite ready to put something into action but in the future the right situation will present itself and you will know what to do.

Best wish on your endeavors Janron, it is a tough road starting out in any business and I think online businesses are even more so in some ways. So much info, so many directions one can take. Looks like you have found something to commit to and are excited about and that means a lot.
Feel free to share with us your successes and setbacks, there are a lot of people here who have traveled the road you are on right now, and plenty of them are willing to share a tip or two with you when you need it.

  • Good luck with your journey.
Take it slow and you will win the race. Don't bombard yourself with information overload like a lot of people do.
