Think about this if you are having trouble online.

It just makes me sick when I see someone quit after 1 minute of buying a product. Here is a little advice for you guys!

1. Put enough time into what you are doing! Have the mindset that you will work for a set number of hours.
2. Put your heart into it! If you love dogs then do something that involves dogs. Pick your niche wisely. The more you know the more you will make.
3. If you have bought a product online you most likely have to spend more money. Don't be afraid to invest for your returns.
4. Use your mind and be smart. Think about every little detail.
5. Think for the long term. Research research research!
6. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Help is the greatest tool you can have.
7. Lastly stick with it.

Cheers to your success.

    Aaaaaaa-men brotha !

    I agree !

And, especially, as this mindset applies to purchasing "self-help" products. Heather and I been creating, managing, marketing, and selling products in this arena for 4 years and it never ceases to amaze us how there's this sector of thought that:

    >> believes "I'll transform just from the pure act of buying this course, CD, teleseminar series, or book.....holy shit ma I've found the holy grail and I'm set for life."

    >> buys on their own accord and intelligence, self-study "self-help" products, on a continual, practically regurgitating, basis, blames the vendor for not getting results, then continues the pattern. "Maybe," they think, "this next offer will be my meal ticket."

Come on folks, if you see yourself in this last sector, QUIT buying the stuff if you're not going to APPLY it. It should be readily apparent, if this is in fact you, self-study isn't your thing -- GET A COACH !

Enough said on that point !

One more thing ( for you marketers out there ):

Always keep this in mind when dealing with the masses

In this day and age of instant gratification and vicariousness, people want thrills without risks, wine without alcohol, beer without calories, more money without effort, optimal health without exercise and proper nutrition and, yes, even valuable information products without paying what they're worth.

Mold your sales copy accordingly in order to PREVENT this kind of something-for-nothing mentality.

And, of course, while i feel U're kidding, I still am here LMAO, as I always find it entertaining to think that mass media and/or herd-thinking has conditioned us to believe that self-help has to be mutually-inclusive with some kind of monk-like, even-keeled temper or love n light flair.

I talk extensively about that very misconception HERE:

How to Fight The Good Fight

P.S. By the way, I NEVER said I "teach" it - rather, I research it, report on it, interview around it, and just flat-out do my best to give some practical, logical common-sense to it.

Absolutely TRUE! There is always more to success than simply reading someone else's words. There's that little thing called ACTION!

    Thanks for the post.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I believe the more action you take the greater the results.

I wonder if there is anybody that is making money online today that didn't fall into this trap?
I know I did and everbody I have ever talked to says the same thing. We get too much info and it causes a sort of paralysis in us. We learn what we need to do, but can't quite seem to get off of our asses to do it!

Trust me when I say that we have all been there in one form or another.

    Update*

Make sure you have enough money for 6 months to sustain your business expenses. Specifically, you must not count on receiving or spending any money coming in from your business on yourself or for your bills during those first six months. All the income from your business during those first six months should be reinvested in your business in order for it to grow and reach our planned first year potential.

Hi, I agree, working hard pays off. I have been promoting my site for the past four months and now have a PR2. I'm sure lots of you could get there faster, but I learnt a lot through trial and error. Next time around, I'll probably be faster, but it took a lot of work on my part, promoting.

But I would rather do this, then my day job.
