Do you have Daily Goals/Tasks?

How many of you have a list of daily tasks you want to achieve or milestones that you aim to beat each day/week/month?

I focus day to day and week to week, so i can see where my slumps were and if I'm on target to hit my targets for the week.

What about you? Do you have a system similar to this or perhaps you work completely differently, I'd like to hear some discussion on this.

I have a whiteboard above my desk and write a quick list of what I hope to achieve for that day. It helps me keep everything in perspective. I don't always stick to it rigidly - it's more just keeping everything in one place where I can see it from a glance and so I know what I'm doing so I don't forget.

It's probably just to remind me what I need to do as opposed to actual tasks but it helps keep me focused all the same.

I never really have weekly tasks because things change so regularly for me - and monthly tasks tend to be out of the question unless it's something obvious that I need to do.

I use a site called HiTask. Helps me greatly in keeping up with my schedule and tasks. To me it helps to plan the next day, the night before. They have phone apps as well.

I have a monthly calendar I fill out with tasks and goals. I would say I set my goals on a weekly basis though. It's a great way to track efforts and results.

I do the same as James Dean. It works for me because that's where my appointments are and I live by this book.

I have the same thing, although i wish mine was bigger i always like to add things to it as i'm working. I am seriously contemplating a 6x4 foot wall size if i keep maxing my little one.

I have daily goals in mind. I wrote a goal for the next day in my journal, then I'll accomplish it. Rinse and repeat everyday, it is where I'm motivated.

I have had massive daily lists to work from for as long as I remember. I'm contemplating deviating from that. So I'll see how that effects my results :-)

Daily goals keep you focused and on task. I have them and they definitely help me in my business. I give my sales team daily goals as well. They are on a path to success.

I do have daily goals, the problem is that not everyday I manage to complete them, time is simply not enough for what I want to do. I think that I will try to make a list from now on and cut from it what I managed to complete everyday. The idea with the white board from NathanDevlin is great and I am thinking to start using it also. Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas. They helped me a lot!

I use a traditional pen and pad. I write down my daily tasks either the night before or in the morning. The feeling of ticking them off as I complete the tasks is so fulfilling.

It also keeps me accountable to myself when I do not complete what needs to be done for the day.
