Meditation and Free Nature Sounds

Hey warriors,

Every successful marketer I know meditates on a regular basis. It is relaxing, refreshing, motivating and cleanses negative thoughts and feelings. It can put your mind and heart at ease whenever you feel down or unsure of yourself.

When it comes to meditating, it's a good idea to use appropriate music, or better yet, nature sounds. We used to live in the wild, and our emotional brain is wired to respond to it in every way. It's easy for us to relax when we are in a lush green environment. I think it's generally advisable to let your brain see, smell and hear nature whenever you can, not just when you meditate.

You can get a lot of nature sounds and music for free on youtube:

Code:

Add search terms to this; such as rainforest, rain, sea / ocean, river, rocky mountains, whale song, outback and so on. Be creative; there is a lot out there. In addition, there are some well known series of nature sounds like "Relax with Nature" and Dan Gibson's "Solitudes", which usually has music in it.

I hope this proves as useful to you as it does to me

Now, it's about time for some rocky mountain river sounds...

    Hey there Allen,

Thanks for the insight, info, and referreal on these nature sounds for Meditation!
    Appreciate that, Brother!

I, too, am an avid, almost 'religious' (in a non-sect kinda way!) about Meditation!
In fact, I'm listening to cool breeze ocean waves, infused with subliminals right now, as I write this to ya!

Speaking of which, Allen,.....what's your take on Subliminal Infusion into music for Meditation??

I've just recently been exposed to it, and am in my first 2 weeks of testing/trying it.....more specificly,....High-Def Subliminal audio & vid, as a daily morning & evening practice.

So far,....it's been nothing less of "amazing".

Hard to describe, especially if you've been meditating for quite some time, but the subtle power behind the audio & visual subliminal combo....literally "blows my mind" LOL!

    (Sorry!,...I couldn't resist!!)

    Please share your thoughts, Allen.

    Cheers!

    Hey thetrusted1,

Awesome! I haven't tried that yet, though I'm currently looking into a lot of mind and mindset strengthening methods and would love to test it. Can you point me anywhere or what to search for to find this sort of music?

    Cheers!

    Thanks.
I like those nature sounds and in fact have a program in my laptop that creates those sounds. And I also love to listen a lot of Buddhist rhytmic music (modern) that somehow soothes my soul. In a chaotic world of Internet marketing, we sometimes need to loosen up a bit because most great ideas appear when our mind is calm and focus.

Its funny cuz I never thought about it until now, but when I first wake up, there's no music playing or anything, and I pray and then sort of go into my meditating routine. But upon going to sleep, I listen to this hypnosis therapy "music" as I lay down and envision my goals in life. Hmm...got me thinking now

Cool! I used to listen to Classical (Baroque) type music when I first started meditating and practicing affirmations years ago.

I found that the more active and "rich" pieces tend to get my energy and blood and mind power flowing.

And then I gravitated towards the more serenity-inducing nature sounds (i.e. rain, birds, ocean waves, etc...), which seemed to have greater impact and positive effects on me personally.

I continue to consistently listen to these nature vibes on a daily basis, and on occasion, hit up the classical,....but more recently,..I've been exploring the subliminal.

Allen, one of the great resources I use (and NO, this is Not a personal affiliate link, I just want to share what's workin' for me here), is the works of a one, Nelson Berry (nelsonberrysubliminalblog dot com)

Check his stuff out. Maybe it resonates with you, maybe not.

There are some others as well, like Richard Luck (subliminal-videos dot com).

I use products from both of these guys and am quite impressed at the quality and effects, thus far.

    Hope this helps, Y'all!

I believe in Buddhist meditation, its one of the best forms of meditation. Just sit down at a silent place and focus on your breath. Focusing on our Breath, can increase our concentration drastically and make us feel good about ourselves.

      Hi Allen,

Thanks for the great share. I totally agree about your point that every succesfull marketer does some sort of meditation and that nature (sounds) helps to get you in that meditational state.

I will put your suggestions into practice, now lets meditate
