Had to think about how you phrased that for moment and some will make fun probably.

However your quote is correct! If we chose to be lonely (loneliness) or maybe better said, to be left alone, it can be a time of enjoyment or pleasure. A quiet time.

However if we suffer loneliness because others choose to avoid or ignore us it can be hard to accept (digest)

Interesting quote. Nowadays it seems like the art of being by yourself is lost. It is easy to always be distracted with some kind of electronics.

LOL, I love witty quotes like that.

I love being around lots of people -- few things energize me more. However, I can't get anything productive done when in the company of others (too much distraction).

  Well when gifted by others or forced to be alone then state is called loneliness but when you willingly opt to be alone, with yourself then that beautiful state is called solitude.

This one really hits home! Like many people, I have that one love that keeps drifting in and out of my life always leaving a tsunami of deep love and complete devastation.

I told her just last night that she can't ever come back until she works on herself. People who live temporary lives and never commit to anything no matter how trite are very dangerous people.

Don't bring in business partners that aren't 100% dedicated to your project. You'll only find yourself "gifted with loneliness" as stated above.

very ingenious! indeed, it can be true! sometimes we tend to savor loneliness. we find something in it that enables us to ponder and meditate on things. but when it is caused by others to us, that's another story. it always feels bad if the others make us lonely.

buckeyes09- does that mean you don't get lonely?
I would think IM marketing would be difficult for a total extrovert.
Do you do offline? On the same (or similar test) I scored right in
the middle of the introversion/extroversion scale,
slightly on the introverted side.

I think its easier for introverts to be alone, but not lonely.
We seem to enjoy our solitude more.
However, too much alone is depressing, and then leads
to loneliness.
