This is absolutely brilliant and very true. I am going to bookmark this thread because I saw so much truth inside this story. All it takes is the first sale to get the ball rolling. Use that sale to leverage your way to where mr. Amazing made it. Great graphics and story.

Freaking amazing and true....although I see this more in IM industry rather than self help. LOL

Terrific stuff! You really have the creative juices in you! No way I could make up a strip like that even if I came up with the story line!

Sadly, the point you make is likely true of many folks in the self-help industry.

    Thanks!

Cracked me up! Fun. Viramara, you're spot on. Folks who don't have a dime to the names, teaching others how to make money! But, I suspect there are guys like ''Mr Amazing'' in all walks of life. Guys taking advantage of other people's genuine desire for change, for improvement in life.

Very interesting comic. Remind me of how I was cheated years ago by warrior selling website flipping course here for $127. He promised a no question asked refund policy but in the end I just realized it was a con.

Very clever and well done and I'm sure it's very close to the truth with some marketing.

It reminded me of the story, which I think is an urban myth, of a guy who buys a Bull for $100 and when he gets it home it drops dead before he can insure it. Now this guy is a small farmer and he can't afford to lose $100 so he goes into the local pub and says he's raffling a $100 Bull for $10 a ticket. Now $10 isn't too expensive so about a dozen of the drinkers buy a ticket and the winning ticket is drawn.

He tells the lucky winner to come by in the morning to pick up the Bull but when the new owner arrives he tells him the Bull has died overnight, shows him the carcase and refunds the guy his $10.

So through a bit of quick thinking and a smart marketing plan the guy who initially bought the Bull is not out of pocket, the guy who won the Bull is not out of pocket and the loss has been spread over a number of people who all have taken a small loss.

So somewhat similar to the story above.

Take good care of those that you love.

      this is an interesting con

you have a raffle, and show people a picture of the prize.

then you somehow pay off the winner

would probably be better just to rig the auction so that your brother always wins or something...
