Three Important Lessons for Success

Three times in life, when you must just move on when your mind says " STOP"

1) When you have just started to do something good and there comes a feeling that the work you are doing will not reap any results.
2) When you are failing to get any positive results. "Life is not all about success and failures, there's also something called as Lessons".
3) When you are about to reach your destination. At this moment, procrastination will hit upon you and you would feel like resting for a while.
If you keep moving in these three situations, then nothing in this world can stop you from getting success.

You are right Tom. I have stopped many times at these junctions and it is my personal experience, so I think people must just move when they arrive at these junctures of their life.

A person needs a clear, primary goal and several flexible minor goal steps. A clear goal and a "do whatever it takes" commitment will help you push past the short term doubt and discouragement.

The key through everything, as you have outlined, is to just keep moving forward!

Thanks mate for giving your excellent views. By moving ahead, we indirectly stop being pessimistic because people start becoming pessimistic only when they stop for accessing their performance and the outcome of their efforts.

So long as your "why" is strong enough, you'll keep moving on, whatever obstacles get in the way - including a horrible headache right now!

I can't agree you more. " Why" is a must to keep moving. A solid purpose can help us move rocks. Human's determination is unbelievable, so all one needs is a " Why". Well pointed mate. I Appreciate.

    You've summed it up well...
    ''I'd rather die than quit''.

The old saying "winners never quit and quitters never win" comes to mind reading this. Great thought.

#1 I've done this before, for better or for worse.
#2 At least you can learn from failures
#3 Exactly -- don't stop because you're starting to achieve something! You've only just begun!

You have summed up well mate.
Quitting is always a solution, I'd rather choose to go against the tides and move ahead.

I've always enjoyed this quote by Calvin Coolidge

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

I'd rather persist, persist, persist and try to take the road less traveled than "settle".

Thanks for posting this awesome quote. These four lines by Calvin Coolidge can act as a life-changer for many guys out there who fail to understand the importance of persistence.
