I'm relatively new to the IM world. I recently decided to start my own online business focused on time management and work life balance strategies. I'm developing a time/project management tool that will be inexpensive, flexible and relatively easy to use. Given that IMer's appear to struggle with juggling tasks and time issues, I would like to get some input on what areas a product like this could help you with. Below are some questions to get started, but any input would be appreciated.
- Do you need to track multiple projects?
- Do you need to track how long each task/process step takes?
- Are the steps to completing a specific project repetitive (ie. do they follow the same process flow) and what are the high level steps?
- In terms of resources is it usually just you that work on these projects?
- Which steps, if any, do you outsource to other resources?
