My Cat Experiment That Lead To Seeing A Symbolic Comparison Of The 99% to 1%... (No cats were hurt)
Just to put that in perspective I want to give you a quick example. Imagine there being 100 pizzas set out on a table. One man is going to eat 96 pizzas while 99 people are going to split 4 pizzas. So the big question is why is the wealth division so unbalanced?
Let me tell you a quick story on a experiment that I did with two cats. The first cat's name is Chi-Chi and the second cat's name is Ali. We still have Chi-chi but Ali was to wild for our liking and we ended up giving him away.
One day out of nowhere I decided to do a experiment to see what both cats would do when put in a strange situation. So I put both cats in the middle of the bathroom and opened up the door to allow both of them to exit.
They both started walking towards the door which symbolized opportunity and freedom. The second that I saw in their eyes the belief that they can make it out I immediately stepped in front of them to block your path. Both cats stood there and looked at me in awe as the mammoth obstacle that I was.
What happened next was the difference between the 99% crowd and the 1% crowd. I remained blocking the door and guarded it like a hockey goalie. Over the next five minutes Ali tried every method to get out of the bathroom even though I was blocking the path as if my life depended on it.
He made wild flying attempts to squeeze through the cracks. He ran at me full speed willing to injure himself to get out. It was almost as if he was insane and not willing to accept defeat no matter what.
All the while Chi-chi would look up at me every once in a while and take a couple of steps. Just like a employee will make some half a%# attempt to free themselves from their job ultimately giving up after a huge obstacle appears. Excuse after excuse will flow like a river.
All I would have to do was make any sort of movement indicating I would block Chi-chi's path and that paralyzed Chi-chi into remaining like a victim caught in a trap. (I don't have the money. I don't have the experience. I can't... blah blah blah)
The interesting thing is how Ali made it out five times out of his 35 wild attempts. I was honestly trying my hardest to keep this wild champion spirited cat inside this bathroom. I was the massive obstacle just like all of the obstacles you will face in life that will try to hold you back from creating massive success in your life.
Ali had the spirit of a 1% champion. He refused to give up no matter how big the obstacle or how long it took him to get out. The interesting part is Chi-chi only attempted to get out twice and never made it out. Once when he was naive enough to think it was as easy as just walking out. The second attempt came when she saw Ali get out his first time. (Follower)
It's just like a person that sees others succeeding so they come searching online to see numerous success stories and then have the motivation to attempt to escape the rat race.
The second that person doesn't see instant success they are instantly paralyzed then remain a sitting victim for the remainder of their life. Blaming circumstances versus taking blame for not being like Ali.
That victim minded person then tries to spread the disease of failuritis to other individuals and keep them paralyzed as well. I learned a lot by watching Ali that day. I learned that you must have a definite purpose which for Ali was to escape the bathroom to roam freely.
I learned that you must be like a wild man who will make crazy attempts no matter how much it's outside of your comfort zone. I learned that you must keep trying until you succeed no matter what.
I learned that you must not accept any obstacle as an obstacle. You must fight until you get what you want. I learned that if you take on the role of a leader who leads by example and takes no excuses you will pass the same mentality to the people that follow you.
Do not be Chi-Chi be Ali... (If some parts in this offended you then you are being like Chi-Chi)
One last thing... Chi-chi is way more intelligent then Ali. She can use the toilet. Yeah we taught her to use the toilet. She responds and comes like a dog. She is very trainable. Ali was hard to train. Hard to program. He wanted what he wanted and was not not willing to bend to anybodies standards.
The question I have for you is... Are you unstoppable?
