Why there is no such thing as a lazy person...
and members of this forum that proclaim that "people are just
too damn lazy".
The concept of laziness is often used to describe a state where
a person is unable or does not want to do something. Yet if you
look at this a concept a little more closely you'll come to
realise that it isn't laziness at but rather...RESISTANCE!
Resistance comes in many forms one of which may give the
appearance of laziness but it's really just an unconscious
reason for not doing something.
Often we have deep seated beliefs or ideas that conflict with
our conscious desire to be, do or have something, and the main
weapon that our mind uses to get its way is...resistance.
If you ever find yourself failing to follow through on some
action or goal and blaming it on your own laziness, DON'T;
simply come to terms with the fact that you failed to do
whatever it is that you were supposed to do because you did NOT
want to.
This self honesty will hopefully lead you to the real reason why
you're not doing whatever it is you're supposed to do and allow
you to resolve the inner conflict.
However, if you just continue putting it down to
laziness..you're simply not taking responsibility for yourself
or your life.
Just my 2 cents.
