Recent Success

Hello everyone, I'm Landon! I just wanted to take a few moments to write a quick little post about my recent success.

I first want to define success from my POV. Success to me isn't necessarily monetary. Sometimes I set a goal for my self and when said goal is attained then I've achieved success.

This is only partial success for me, I feel like it's a great start though. Recently I started my first niche site. I just joined these forums not too long ago and I had no clue about anything related to SEO....honestly I didn't know what that meant. I started off by learning everything I could, buying WSO's, and learning about terms and what they mean.

So I decided on my niche and when I decided I didn't realize (because I didn't research properly) that my niche was going to be super difficult to rank in...this is due to the fact that it's dominated by big companies.

Well today I was checking for my main keywords in Google and I've found that I'm ranked #28 out of 24.2 million! I started trying to rank on the 28th of March 2012.

Anyways, I wanted to say thank you for this great place! I never could've done it without all the knowledge contained here! Now all that's left to do is rinse and repeat and watch the $$ flow in (hopefully).
