Here Is Why You Lack Motivation And Focus
The only way you can compete in business is when you are in the right frame of mind. Lack of concentration leads to low performance.
I have found that there are a few things you can do to push yourself to your greatest potential before you start t work, while you work, and when you are done with your work.
Think about how you start off your morning. If you start off your day watching television, listening to junk radio or reading the newspaper, you are in no sense preparing yourself for the day. What you are doing is to build your day based on the current state of the economy, or based on some random stuff that you cannot successfully use for your life.
What you should do instead is to start your day in a powerful note. Do something that pumps you up. I love to grab a pen and a piece of paper and write down 5 things I´m grateful for in my life right now. This can be anything from you having a business to enjoying your daily breakfast.
Other practices that are highly effective are reading positive affirmations. You can create your own - personal affirmation sheet.
Write down a few things you have got in your life right now or want to have; Make sure that you list all those things in present tense.
Here are some examples:
I´m the best mindset coach for online marketers.
I have the most amazing, loving, and caring girlfriend.
I attract highly successful people into my life.
I ´m the best at what I do.
I earn $10,000 a month.
Other practices that you might want to do are going for a walk to get the blood moving around. The way in which you start off your morning has a lot to do with how successful or unsuccessful you will end your day!
You can do meditation for 10 - 20 minutes a day. Additionally, you can read at least 1 hour in a book, covering your preferred topics.
There are so many more things you can do to improve your day which leads to improving yourself day by day.
No wonder why so many online marketers are struggling.. They do so because they are only focused on the technical aspects of their business while entirely ignoring the mental aspects.
If you are not spending at least 2-3 hours a day with improving yourself, you will never get to where you want to be.
Tip: Push yourself by understanding that self improvement and practices are the key to your personal success. If you are into self improvement you have a great life. There is no such thing as saying that you have a personal life and a professional life. If you work on yourself you simply have a life.
What do you do to keep yourself focused and how do you start off your day?
To your success,
Gerald
