You know what I've learned today, Warriors?

Sometimes you just have to suck it up and swallow your pride.

You see I hate asking for help, but today I had to. And you know what?

It can be a good thing.

After all- JVs don't appear from the "I can do it all myself" mentality. And we all know that JVs are a VERY effective way to build an online business.

So what I'm saying is-swallow your pride- be willing to do what isn't comfortable but must be done!

    not just with asking help!

you can also get tools that will help you like schedulers or some apps that help you get organized, things that you would normally turn down because you say "i don't need that stuff"

Right on Justin, It is difficult to ask for help, but often can have a very positive impact on both our personal lives as well as our business lives. I have to constantly work on the pride thing and one day I can help others.

Glad you got over that hurdle Justin. I used to have the same problem myself. I though going it alone made me stronger and better. Once you realize that all you are doing is handicapping yourself, your business (and your personal life) take off to new levels.

"Two heads are better than one, and a three-fold cord is not easily broken."

No idea who said those things right off the top of my head, but they are very true...getting the opinion of someone else, and being aided by others makes you stronger.

Some people think it is admitting defeat when you ask for help - I think asking for help is a battle cry

I grow most after I realize that I don't have all the answers, but sometimes that is painful.

Its very painful, But when we can "swallow" our pride once, we will always remembered that and get some lesson with that.

Yep! and that moment will always be remembered and because of that we will continually push ourselves beyond our plateau and surpass it!

Sometimes, you have to admit the fact that you don't know everything. It's also a sign of humility which is a good trait for a leader!

  • This can be very helpful advice. JV work is remarkable if the two parties agree to work toward a common goal. And it is very practical to ask for help. Agreed, one has to push his pride aside to do the asking. Psychological horsetrading can be very helpful at that point.
It always turns out it is best to help yourself to help yourself. That's what reaching out is finally about.
