    Fear was the thing which stop me from taking action.
    Now, I just take whatever action I believe can help me to become successful.
    After all, I have nothing to lose.

    Nice share, solid advice
    Thanks for the share Justin

      LOVE the line about "nothing to lose"... you are totally right. In most cases your actions can't take you any further back... the WORST case is you stay where you are. The best case is you advance. Great point and thanks for commenting

    Good video.

    I'd like to add a couple pointers for your audience if they are fresh in business. I've been in business all my life, so i have about 40 years working for myself. I've tasted the fruits of remarkable success many times, and for every one of those peaks, there's been many lost battles in between the high points. I'll sum up what I've learned.

    1. you need a vision - its essential and you must believe in it 110%, not just be flying a trial balloon. This also means, you need the courage to believe in yourself. (it gets easier) This is sometimes very hard, but you are not alone. All entrepreneurs face self-doubt. We live with it daily. Get used to it.

    2. You must hold a royal flush in determination. Determination is the second key. Its the foundation to any person's success story. Life is a series of problem solving tasks. Everyday we wake up and solve problems. Most are easy. Some seem impossible. Behind every successful project, there are a number of problems that once seemed impossible to overcome. Seen in the rear view mirror of success, they will become the ground breaking victories that led to your success story. Don't quit, keep paddling. Tomorrow is another day, and if you keep at it, you will find the solution.

    3. Execution. This is a potential minefield of disaster waiting to happen. Rarely can we learn from others' mistakes. We make our own; and if we do not learn from them, only then are they deemed tragic. The deal is never done, until its done. When you have the cash in the bank, then celebrate.

    4. Never make critical decisions unless you are absolutely sure. If you are not sure - wait. We exist in a constantly changing environment. Tomorrow the situation can and usually does change. If you are not absolutely comfortable with a key decision, do more work, investigate more.

    5. Hope is not a plan. You can only execute successfully on a good plan. Make sure you have one. ( note: a vision is not a plan)

    6. An expert is a guy from out-of-town with a briefcase. (today a laptop) No one can understand your situation as well as you personally. Acquire your own expertise. And once you get there, never let your guard down. Keep honing it. Keep learning.

    7. Perhaps the most important one: we all fail trying. If you take a bad fall, really fail miserably, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get going again. Walt Disney went bankrupt five times before he made it.

    Cheers!
    James

    I used to suffer from the "always thinking" rather than "always doing" problem that this video is about. And as Justin says, mindset is the key.

    For years I couldn't get myself to put into action the things I knew - including the tactics I already know on how to take action lol!

    What I realized was I needed to establish a different mindset to do it . I wasn't sure how to do this in the beginning, but I solved my personal riddle by setting myself a single goal:

    Devleop just one habit that would get me taking action all day, every day.

    The habit that I eventually found to work was this:

    While eating breakfast every morning, I would sit there and write down everything important I wanted to achieve for that day. Then I'd repeat my intentions for the day aloud to emphasize and solidify them in my mind.

    Despite trying numerous different "success strategies" to get myself to take action, it was this simple decision to establish a habit like this that I was able to keep going.

    Maybe this simple morning habit will work for someone here too.

    Cheers to Justin for taking the time to make and post the video!

    JPop at it again. You're probably one of the BEST motivational speakers out there dude, and it always makes sense.

    You're gonna wish you could reach through the screen and thunder slap me, but I JUUUUUUUUST bought a new WSO 10 min ago!!. It's stuff pertaining to things i've been wanting to implement, but still...

    Doing is a lot more difficult than saying, we all know that, but this quick video probably has the power to motivate a fair amount of people out of that mindset. I like it man.

      Excellent video and message, Justin!

      Sometimes it's hard to push through all the clutter but finding what works for YOU is ultimately the only way to be successful ... not trying to do what Joe Guru does if his personality and skill-set is different from yours!

      Deep down I think we all really know what will and won't work for us individually. It's just a matter of understanding and accepting it ... and it is definitely worth the effort.

    Thanks for the message Justin! I have been able to change my mindset from; after I take this long break, I will get to work -- to; how soon can I get going on these items? The change in mindset is everything. I know I have a long way to go, and there are down times, when I especially need to listen to messages like yours.

    You are right...it is about doing. Thinking will help you create a blueprint. But...no one lives in a blueprint. You have to do it...you have to build!

    It's what you do when no one is watching
    that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.

        Thanks Justin for the video, because for me I think it has to deal with confidence but without action I wont be getting to that point.

    AWESOME list man. I love every single point. Well said and thanks for adding to the conversation

    @DBracey

    Thanks for your comments. Great idea about making plans early in your day so you had set objectives and you can measure those objectives at the end of the day. Glad you liked the video

    @mikehuff

    Thanks man!!! Although I haven't motivated you to cut your WSO addiction entirely... but then again, that motivation has to come from within lol!! Keep at it

    @2stayhome

    I agree.I think people don't give themselves and their own instincts enough credit. Too often, people look for permission/acceptance/authority from other people... and those people may not be right to begin with.

    @David Sneen

    Hey David, sounds like you are on the right track and you are taking measurable action to make long term changes in your life. Changes that will make you a relentless action taker... which is what its all about. Keep it up!

    I just want you to know that this is exactly what I needed to hear today!

    I have been procrastinating for six months! I have a hard drive full of "stuff." I have begun to work on ME, on focusing, on finding out why I'm sitting still. Fear has me paralyzed.

    I did this morning (and every morning) what you suggested - I usually read something motivational and this morning I was to examine the past with the view that it is my GREATEST asset, the means to a brighter future. What I have done (or not done) is the KEY, not the lock.

    Thank you.

      Awesome! So glad this message arrived at the right time for you. I know it is a common discussion but I figured a video post rather than a written one would connect with certain people more powerfully. Thanks for letting me know and good luck with it!
