You shouldn't feel any frustration really. A thread is deleted when it breaks the rules or the conversation is going to lead to something that breaks the rules. It is nothing personal against you. Simple as that.

If you are really worked up over it step away from the laptop and do something relaxing for 30 minutes. Staring at the screen pissed off isn't going to help.

      Joe:
      Well said.

To the OP, I'll answer your question in a second. But a little suggestion first:

If you've spent a lot of time writing a post and it is THAT valuable to you, save a copy of it. You can always make changes to it to adhere to rules or post it somewhere else on the internet. The Warrior Forum is not the only place where Internet Marketers hang out.

      On a similar note:
Here's what I've learned to ALWAYS do when writing anything, i.e. emails, posts, notes, artilces, etc. b/c sometimes you lose internet connection or a site times out or ??? and you lose EVERYTHING.

Open up Word or some other Word Processor. When you get done typing out a thought or idea, copy all that you've written (in Windows "Ctrl" + "A" then "Ctrl" + "C") then paste it in the document ("Ctrl" + "V").
Save it on your desktop as "Temp Backup" or whatever. Usually it will auto save by default as you keep adding stuff to it. When you're done and you've published your work online, you can delete everything in that document or file it away if it's that important.

Should something happen to your email, post, etc. before publishing it, you'll have an updated copy.

You'll appreciate this when you lose everything you've just written.

Sorry, got carried away a little

To the Original Poster: You got upset at this b/c you failed to reach your goal (to post something that will stick). But, remember this:

Failure and Success are not opposites. They come together as a package, with failure often preceding success.

I would suggest taking a few deep breaths, have a coffee or tea and then go put up another thread ;-) which doesn't break the rules...

    Hi lester091784,

I'm sorry to hear about the challenge you're currently experiencing.

Whenever I am going through something a little frustrating, I think of something Tony Robbins once said, which basically goes a little something like this (I'm paraphrasing): In life, we tend to use the expression, "Someday we'll look back on this and laugh". Why wait?

Basically, Tony is challenging us to take a challenging situation and get us into the habit of looking at how the situation might make us stronger, how the situation might be funny, or how the situation might provide us with a learning opporunity now instead of at some point in the future, once our perspective on the situation has changed. This might sound silly, but I've gotten myself into the habit of doing this exact thing whenever something challenging happens in my life, and I've learned to deal with frustrating situations in a much more effective way. Now, my brain automatically looks for the humor and the learning opportunity to be found in just about any challenging thing that happens in my life. Now, things that would have been super upsetting to me years ago are much more manageable and I press on, becoming stronger each time I'm faced with a new challenge or frustration. I hope this helps you in some way to see that it's really not the situation that happens in your life, but it's more an issue of how you perceive the issue and how you decide to make it something that you can laugh at or grow from. Hope this helps! :-)

Frustration is an indicator that you're missing some some technical knowledge.

In this case, you are missing some knowledge about the terms of service or rules of the site. Get that knowledge and apply it, and you will no longer be frustrated.

No need to take it personally

Just repost it while making sure you abide by the rules.

Quite often we have a tendency to make assumptions about something when in fact the circumstances are generally not what we think they are.

So how is this an opportunity?

I actually take a step back from everything that I'm doing and literally take a walk around the house and take deep breaths.

And then think of what I did wrong and try to correct it.

What I do is pretend the things that lead to the frustration as puzzle pieces I then put them in a ball, close the ball and shake the crap out of it until you calm some. Then I dump the imaginary ball out and pretend I'm putting the pieces together and finding what I'm missing easily. Silly I know but it's so therapeutic.

Focus on the part of the job that you love the most instead of lingering on the problem areas that are beyond your control. Remember that frustration affects your health as much as smoking or a sedentary lifestyle.

Just try to see frustration in positively because frustration, although quite painful at times, is a very positive and essential part of success.
