Wouldn't it be suck to become rich and then have no time to enjoy it? And if you get sick, you won't have as much energy to work on your plans to become successful. Hope everyone can share some tips on how to stay in good health.

Doing this will keep you in top shape; Exercise, 8 cup water daily, fruits, vegetable, fish, nuts, friends, learn, rest, massage, deep breathing, yoga, optimistic, breakfast, goals, hygiene, no junk food, no smoking.

The news pretty much always the same things... could you share some helpful tips that is unusual.

Studies shown that fidgeting could burns up extra 350 calories a day and improve children's memory test score.

Thank you, Please add more unusual tips, will give thanks to liked advices

I am in total disagreement with this statement. I think that it is the exact opposite.
There is no WEALTH without HEALTH. What good is wealth if you are too
sick to enjoy it? I will say that it is nice to have both!

Getting healthy is getting into a "Health" mindset (like anything else). I don't think
that there are any truly strange and incredible things that you need to do to get,
and stay healthy. Most of it is just staying motivated to keep on doing the things
      that keep you healthy.

I'd personally rather have my health first and foremost. Wealth isn't going to do much for me if I can't enjoy it. Of course, others will say that wealth can buy health; but there are plenty of situations where it simply just isn't true.

Yeah like with Steve Jobs.. don't get much more wealthy than him still couldn't save him. Such a shame.

Thanks for sharing this kind of post. I'm new on here, and it's nice to see many different angles of support for members.

A little amendment to the water intake. A person should make a goal to drink half there body weight in ounces which may likely be more than the typical 8 cups per day.

It has been proven that the more money you have the more concerns you face and the more likely you will have bad health than having enough money. Exceptions apply.

      ^^This

There are three things all people want whether they'll admit it or not.
      • Health
      • Love (includes romantic, family and other human relationsips)
      • Money
There ain't nuthin' else. If you look at the broad terms prosperity and abundance, you'll see that they are all encompassing. As Jason said, they really can't be separated.

I've been known to say that success comes from finding your purpose and then being about it. The rest of it (health, love and $) will follow. It took me years to understand and believe this. If someone is about money for money's sake they run the risk of being unhappy when they realize that money isn't everything. This realization can often lead to disease and damaged relationships. It's all about balance.

I'm a firm believer of health before wealth. I look at it this way... if my health deteriated to the point where I couldn't use a PC or work.... how could I have wealth. While money can help prevent and cure certain ailments, some cannot.

Essentially, health is wealth! Same goes for happiness.

For me, it's all about the place you are in mentally.

I can remember, growing up in the 1950s in New Orleans, we didn't have very much (neither did anyone we knew) but we didn't consider ourselves poor. We had plenty of good food, lots of friends and there was always fun and laughter. We had good mental health. But not a lot of money.

Of course, things were a lot simpler and people, a lot kinder.

The media wasn't a central focus in our lives so we weren't being hyped at all day long.

We didn't know as much then as we do now (and that could be a good thing).

Today, while I'm far from wealthy, I make a heck of a lot more money than I ever imagined I would. But I don't consider myself in a happy place. It seems as soon as I get paid, there are all these faceless strangers I need to send money to. Month after month infinitum. I don't look forward to the soul-stealing monotony of the J-O-B and the gossipy, goofy cubicle dwellers I have to deal with in my work environment. Yet, I am thankful to have a good source of income for the value I give the company I work for.

I recently learned I enjoy working in solitude for extended periods, on my computer, doing creative, mind-expanding work. So, I am trying to make a go of it as an online marketer.

Wealth can give you more "paper" to buy more "stuff" - which is fun. It even affords you the best healthcare that money can buy. But not even that may be enough to save your life if you have a life-threatening condition.

If given the choice, I'd choose health. You can live a decent life without wealth. The vast majority of people do it every day. But without your health, it is difficult to focus on anything else.

When you think about it, true, complete health includes not only a healthy body, but a healthy mind and spirit. If you have a healthy mind and spirit, your outlook will be one of contentment, and not of "lack."

There's no getting around the fact that we need money to pay the bills, take care of ourselves and our families, and get around in the world, so I'm not saying we don't need money. But a healthy outlook goes a long way toward coping during the times when there's not quite enough money.

On the other hand, if you have a serious illness, or your body is deteriorating, money can only do so much to help you cope.

That said, as someone who is basically healthy, I wouldn't have a problem also being wealthy.

I too agree that both health and wealth are important.

and SPIRIT! Our mindsets are the most important thing. Most things in life are fleeting, health and wealth are variables that change that we would like more of all the time.

The thing that always keeps me going, is mindset. The inner strength and spirit. Doing things that mostly keep our spirit alive. Staying away from negativity, clinginess, too much neediness. Doing things that feed our spirit - in my case it is sometimes taking a new class, making peace with the past, telling myself I'm human, being hard on myself when I mess up but forgiving myself and having the will to do better.

Hanging out with like-minded people for most of the time. Thats why I love this forum. Onward and upwards everyone!

Some people actually use that phrase to limit their thinking. Health is definitely better than wealth but what's even better than *just* health is health AND wealth.

Totally, but many people tend to sacrifice health for wealth, and in the process they fall ill and end up spending that wealth to cure their illness. It's a never ending trade and we will never understand why we do that.

    Health and wealth are interconnected.

When you keep your body and mind healthy it helps increase your productivity and focus.

Meditation is one of the biggest factors in the improvement of my life and its like exercise for your brain. It keeps it healthy and relaxed. Its much easier to focus when you meditate a lot and you don't get caught in ego battles.

IMO Meditation is basically like steroids for your brain.

People who have serious health conditions that money can't solve would give all their
money just to get better - but it won't help.

On the other hand, there are people who need expensive medical procedures and they
are able to afford it with money. Even health to certain extent can be bought with money.

It's not like you can (or have) to choose - health or money. You need to do everything
in your power to have both.

What gets me is that the government moans on that people are unhealthy when it's cheaper to buy a microwave burger and chips than it is a Mango? So if you want to eat healthily you have to be rich. Money enables so much and sometimes from this comes better health. So I go against the grain and say wealth before health.

I don't think you can actually compare health vs. wealth on one being "better" than the other.

    Wealth:

Not long ago we detected my dad had cancer. Without proper (and very expensive) treatment he would have died a while ago because doctors said he was already in a "terminal" phase.

In other words, he needed money to recover his health.

    Health:

Health on the other hand, I have yet to meet someone who is 100% in the best shape of their life and who is struggling bad to become wealthy at the same time.

What I'm trying to say is that if you are healthy, there's a huge chance you are not broke because staying healthy means being disciplined, making good choices, being consistent, staying relevant, etc.

All these qualities are actual great business qualities so if you're healthy, wealth will follow next (if you're not already there).

    Real life example:

Every single time I go jogging, I get a sense of happiness while I'm doing it (even if I am completely stressed out, ...endorphines anyone?) and there hasn't been one single time I have returned from running without a great solution for a problem that I'm currently dealing with at the time.

So my take on this is as long as you are healthy, wealth will follow next.

PS. Being ridiculous wealthy can lead to having terrible health so the key here is (like others have said) balance.

Right of the bat I'd have to say that health is better than wealth because, as has rightly been said, "it would suck to become rich and then have no time to enjoy it." That having been said, It would be better to be both healthy and wealthy. That truly is an unbeatable combination.
