Mind Power and Techniques on Developing it

Techniques and talks about mind powers have been emerging from a long time and many people have been benefited by them in long runs and short periods.
I would request all the readers reading this thread to share the techniques used by them and the benefits derived.
Lets start by myself. I sit silently and focus on my inhalation and exhalation for a few moments.
Then I suggest my mind that I breath in positive energy and breath out negative energy. Continue this for a while.
Then you can have your own messages like
"I breath in health and I breath out disease."
"I breath in love and I breath out hatred ness."
And when you have enjoyed this for a good time you should suggest yourself in the end that my life is full of positive energy, health and love. Depending upon the messages you have given.

I have found this technique to have effects and sometimes instant effects

This was from my side lets see what others share.

    I do believe in mind power ... power of mind. No doubt about it.
    When it's cold I told my mind it's not. When I feel stomach upset, I dictate my mind stop thinking about it. When I need to focus, the world seems empty, just me and what I'm doing. I think it's more than power of mind.

    Thanks for this great post. I do believe in mind power. Having a successful life and achieving your goals are skills that everyone can learn using Mind Power.

    I like personal power 2.. it's a 30 day program..

    Just like we can train our bodies to resemble that of a shredded Greek god, we too, can train our "brain muscles" through the process of neuroplasticity (I love saying that word).

    If you go to the gym, lift a couple weights, go home, and never return again, you will not grow. It doesn't matter how much protein you down or how many chemicals you inject into your butt cheeks...

    Just like our muscles, the brain must be trained DAILY in order to grow.

    You can do this by using affirmations, incantations, getting things done, and celebrating.

    When you knock something off of your to-do list, celebrate! Go do something fun or take a break for a few minutes.

    This will train your brain to associate a positive reward for every task that may seem daunting.

    The more you do it, the stronger the association will be and the more unstoppable you will become.

    Hey,

    3 years ago I crossed the people who practicing Qigong. I was lucky that happened. Mind power there is much more important and much more powerful than pure physical exercises.
    I become stronger physically and emotionally. So mind power works.

    For me, the best way to go about such things is meditation (www.centerpointe.com) and Learning Strategies Corporation also has a wonderful series of semi-hypnotic cds called "Paraliminals". These are the same sorts of things as the OP mentioned (positive affirmations), but they are done in such a way that it bypasses the conscious mind and speaks directly to the sub-conscious mind (which some scientists estimate is up to 30,000 times as powerful as the conscious mind). Get paraliminals here: www.learningstrategies.com

      Two amazing tools. I use both extensively; Holosync for meditation and the paraliminals to get me in the zone for work and academics. I highly recommend a combo of both.

  • I appreciate the fact you have created a personalized method of attracting positive energy into your life.

    My method is a simple quieting of the mind by simple observation of passing thoughts while noticing my breath. I do not use any particular affirmation or try to control what is observed. This seems to work well for me.

      That is traditional meditation that has been used for centuries by the Buddhist monks and other practitioners of meditation; it is slower than Holosync but it is certainly effective and it is better than nothing.

      The key thing that you said is that you 'notice' your breath, you do not try to control it or do anything other than allow it to happen. Meditation, whether the traditional type or using the current technology available, is a powerful tool that we all should employ. Thank you for adding to our lives!

  • Focusing the mind on the intended object or circumstance is key. Making the request for said item is also key. Receiving the objective within before without is paramount.
