Hi fellow Warriors,

I would like to know some productivity books that you like.

I will start the ball rolling first.

My favorite productivity book is the 4 hour work week by Tim Ferris.

Cheers

The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker is a great resource for productivity. Especially the first part on time manangement.

David Allen's Getting things done is one of the best books on productivity
      and management.

      No higher recommendation.

      Hi Vince

Good question. What do you mean by productivity:

7 Habits is a great read - good well rounded piece on general productivity
One Minute manager is good too
Eat that Frog - is great for learning how to tame that to do list
Think and Grow Rich - is a classic - it seems pretty daunting and the writing style is a bit old fashioned but well worth the read in terms of setting mindset

I have only skimmed David Allen's stuff but it looks good too and based on StickyNotes comment I will dig a little deeper. I was looking at a review of latest book: How to Make it All Work on a flight home from Brisbane.

Also - in terms of motivation etc agree with RickyMat - read about heroes or people you want to be like.

Kiyosaki writes some good work too - especially about breaking our old thinking about 9-5 jobs: school, debt, death cycle.

Thanks for the posts too everyone else - I am going to check out the Drucker book.

      good luck

Lynn Terry has been absolutely raving about "The Power of Full Engagement" by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz - I put it in my wishlist a long time ago, but, have yet to get it. I love their focus on it, though - they talk about how it all goes back to energy. Wow, that's exactly the book I need - I've struggled with just that forever!

      Hi Neil,

By productivity I mean getting more things done and doing the right thing in the mean time. Everyone have been sharing their favourite books and I got to check those out. I will check out your recommendation of Eat That Frog too.

I have seen The Power of Full Engagement in Barnes and Noble, but I have not read it yet. I will definitely put it on my list.

Eben Pagan mentioned The Power of Full Engagement and The Effective Executive in his Wake Up Productive pre-sell videos. If he mentions them, then they are pretty good.

Speaking of, if you are serious about getting productive, I hear that program is great. Go to WakeUpProductiveBlog to watch some of his videos and listen to some interviews. You will enjoy them.
