Deep down what is it that hurts our biz?

Greetings all,

I suppose many of us who chime in on different post and leave our thoughts, opinions, etc. Have some if not a very keen understanding as to the emotional rollercoaster our business can put us on. Now, not to say that we give way to the trials, chanllenges that are presented to us while building a business. But, the one thing that I've noticed even in some of my very successful friends has...that inevitable "thorn" of a problem, hurdle, or roadblock that really hasn't been mastered yet. It could be management, organization, training, folding under massive pressure, etc. I just really would like to get a feedback as to what some of my good people here have to say about it. What is it that causes you at times to not feel at your best which causes less than desired results in your business?

I think we have to thinkof a business as a system.

When seen in that light, we will begin to understand better the problems and challenges that we face. Most of the time, myself included, we get too caught up with a problem that relates to a specific part of the business system and when we fail to overcome that problem associeted with that specific aspect of the system, we feel that its hard to go on to the building the other parts of the system.

The problem seems to get bigger as you face multiple problems in your business. Call it challenges, or call it problems, these are things that we have to face.

For me, I see problems as opportunities for me and my business to grow. But, on the other hand, time is always a factor and thats where we need to look into areas such as outsourcing our business areas in order to not get bogged down with specifics.

Just my 2 cents worth folks.

I think we are taught and expect that things are supposed to be easy. I've realized you have to want it more than air itself. If things were easy, everyone would do it and there would be no reward.

Og Mandino talks about the roller coaster of our emotions in "The Greatest Secret in the world". -- our emotions change everyday. We should expect this and understand, that it is OK to feel a cetain way on a certain day. "this too shall pass"

If we equate pain to doing the tasks, we will be discouraged, and conversely if we equate pain to not doing the task...it will get done...

I'm following you on twitter, thanks for putting that in our sig...

I think the fact that one is expecting immediate results and the massive daily work that is required to produce content and get links back to the site. Many people just can´t keep up the pace.
