Why Do You Need Money If Death Tears It Away From You In The End?

The internet made everything a hell lot faster. Marketing
became faster. So were the ideas around it. Everything is
accelerating...

Time is accelerating...

So...
Why, Why, Why
Are You Doing
Internet Marketing?
Why are we such pigs? Why are we slogging in the heat
of the day, feverishly washing ourselves in endless greed...
clinging on to every single breathless attempt of making
money? What makes you cling on to internet marketing
instead of a job?

I was in a chatroom the other day when I astonishingly
heard of several marketers talking about doing an OTO on
their funeral. Seriously?! Is money that important?
Why are you clinging onto money even after death like a
goldfish without water?

How would you describe your first success of making
money through internet marketing? How would you
describe your thoughts on money?

(I'm curious to know, because I'm a pig. I can't get enough
of it. I'm working endlessly to get money - despite having
satisfactory income. But i can't figure out why.)

Surely its about enjoying what you do , hopefully benefiting others and making a living at the same time. Our society is money obsessed - like the Buddhists say 'everything is i permanent' - you cant take it with you. Make a bit of a difference along the way if you can...

</b>Because having a regular job sucks, and I'm good at this.

The fact that it is not a job is why I hang on. If you feel like a pig, that's something you're going to have to square with my dude. Don't put your own disappointment in yourself on my shoulders. That's your problem, not ours.

Calling people "pigs" is rudeness incarnate.

I did a double take on this. You went from insulting to newbie question .

We have all got to remember that sacrificing time for our family, friends or our faith is not worth overindulgence in our quest for making more money whether it is online or offline.

In this life, it is better to pace ourselves and distribute our time and attention more evenly toward people and things that matter the most, than to be obsessed with making more money. If we do this, we will be blessed with what we need anyway and our lives will be more enriched.

@OP By your logic everything we do is meaningless since we will eventually die.

Everybody knows that we will some day cease to exist, but while we are
here lets do some interesting stuff and do our best in everything we do.

    Ahaha.

You guys have to read between the lines here. I hardly think of it as rude - it's more of a metaphor really. This op is brilliant, really.

Well, money is a multiplier. It enhances my ability to do whatever I want. I might want a yacht, a mansion, a Bentley...

Well I can't bring that to death, can I? I want money so I can have a calm, controlled life until the point I die. So... I'd stop at 12 million dollars. How's that?

That would be reaching for something that just simply isn't there. Brilliant is the last adjective I would attribute to the thought process and execution of that OP.

Money for me is freedom. I don't aspire to be a billionaire. I aspire to make enough money where I am able to live the life I want to live (traveling, etc). Balance is key. I don't spend every waking moment trying to make money even though its a huge goal of mine. Family, hobbies, and even fun are important to remember too.

I feel that this is a very pessimistic post that wrongfully describes our source of living.

I began internet marketing so I no longer had to "slog in the heat of the day" working strenuous summer hours of hard physically labour roofing.

I now spend my days indoors, in an air conditioned climate that I control. I spend less hours commuting in a car and manage my own schedule so I create more free time to enjoy with my girlfriend, family, and friends.

Also, death doesn't tear your hard earned money away from you in the end. You have the freedom and ability to provide your surviving family members with an inheritance and grow the wealth for the next generation to come. My father has always preached to me that he wishes my success to be greater to his -- and I will tell my future son the same thing.

You can do amazing things with money (Like set up a Foundation and/or Philanthropy) that will last after you've passed on.

My first thought when reading the title was, Whoa! This dude has his priorities out of whack!

When you say "if Death Tears it Away From You", you show that your heart is obsessed with money and that it is one of the most precious things to you while you are alive. Tears it Away is indicative of you clinging on to something with all your worth. Oops, no pun intended. lol!

Anyway, there are so many more important things to me in life than money. What good is it if you have no one to share it with, for example.

In that vein, I can't even relate with you, sorry. I personally put more faith in the inscription on the bills," In God We Trust", than to the numbers located in the four corners.

Making money is a necessary tool for survival and enjoying some of the finer things in life, but nothing to live and die for.

I equate money to freedom. This world is designed to keep the majority of its inhabitants economically enslaved and in a state of fear. The news tells us the economy is bad and jobs are scarce, so people are willing to work more for less. This translates to larger profit margins for those at the helm of this design, and miserable lives for a lot of people who haven't figured out what's really going on here.

Being able to either stash enough money to live on until my time is up or generate enough passive income to enable me to quit my 9-5 will allow me to experience the freedom of being able to decide what I want to do with each and every day, instead of trudging through what I have to do in order to keep my family fed and sheltered. So it's not necessarily about the money for me. It's about the freedom that can be purchased with it. That is my end goal!
