Yes, the cycle is from that video. Maybe one of the best video I have ever watched. Motivational quotes are gotten from other sources.

I don't stare at the background. The only time I take a look at my background is when I boot up my pc & when I alt-tab to go from my browser to my excel for work purposes and to my VPS.

Indeed, if you don't create your own life plan chances are you'll fall into someone else plan. Everyone of us should have their own life plan because all of us has different perception in life. Be creative in building your life plan and make it as the main core of your success.

  ok, shameless plug forgive me about this
  
  On the same concept I've created a software that flashes empowering messages and images while you work in an non-obtrusive way. I call it Neuroengine - Antivirus For Your Mind.
  
  That way I have a collection of images that have emotional value to me, (for example my family, my boat, my parrots and cats, the view from my summer house) and as I work I get flash those wonderful feelings to myself.
  
  @Meks, I do this too! Here's a suggestion: next time you go bed instead of asking yourself "was this day is good", change the question a bit to "What was the best thing about this day?"
  
  and when you wake up you can ask yourself: "Why will this day be absolutely wonderful?" (or something similar that works for you)
