I don't know where to learn about Internet Marketing, I thought you could learn it online. But maybe you could go to Silicon Valley, it's the best internet start-up environment in the world. A lot of very successful internet start-ups start there.

The warrior forum is a good place to study internet marketing if you prefer the question answer and observating or scrutiny method of learning though it needs patience and consistency it worth all the cash you will spend elsewhere.

The US is the potato chips and TV mecca of the world.
You do NOT need to move here for that reason. Be driven and you can find everything you need online from right where you are already.

I studied a little marketing at university and my major recollection is how unhelpful it was for marketing online. That is I think because it is mostly focused on brand building and corporations with large budgets than the kind of direct marketing that we IMer's do.

I also studied some marketing at university but things have changed so much since the boom of the Internet that all standard ethical marketing techniques do not apply anymore.

You are wise in seeking education and training in Internet Marketing. Yes, it is a study and you CAN actually earn a university degree in Internet Marketing!

Here is a link for info from Full Sail University: Internet Marketing Certificate and Degree programs. I have NO affiliation with this organization and I cannot tell you anything about their reputation; you will have to research all of that yourself. I receive occasional emails from the university and that is how I know about them.

I agree with GT. He is a great affiliate marketer. He is a team member of Stone Evan's Plug 'n' Play Site. I was working with PIPS for sometime in 2009 but I could not succeed. I started providing my IT services here in WF. From this forum I
started learning about IM and today I am a SEO professional and have some
of my online and offline clients also. Still I am learning.

Depending on what you trying to achieve, if you want to broaden your horizon, yeah, you may try to enrol for a course in the uni. Otherwise, if you are currently already earning substantial income from internet marketing, perhaps you shud just continue to learn tips found online? Just 2 cents worth of my thoughts.. but good luck ya

There isn't really much in the way of formal education courses for Internet Marketing but there's a ton of courses out there from people in the industry. There's information for literally every little thing you need.

Internet is a volatile markets, In order for you to stay on top of this market, I will suggest you learn from some 'mentor' of internet marketing, cause what University can provide you are the theory of internet market but for practical lessons, better to learn from guru who have been there.

Good advice above. You just need to follow a course, get a mentor or coach and take ACTION!

You can be based anywhere in the world to succeed. You may wish to travel to the states in the future to meet and grow your contacts but for the time being James is right..

I'm pretty sure you can get a bachelors in internet marketing.

At DeVry or Phoenix. (USA)

Self education is more valuable then "by the books education" though.

But if you would like like concentrate on it from that absorption angle, those 2 are likely your best bets.

Quite honestly you're already in the best place to find everything you need about Internet Marketing. Here on WF, there's tons of information out there from successful IM'ers who want to help and teach others how to be successful in this field. You really don't need to move to another country or attend some kind of school/university to learn the field.

Since it seems that your account is new, I would suggest you browse around the forum and learn as much as you can about what form of IM suits you best. The best thing about IM is that as long as you have internet access and a computer, you can be successful almost anywhere around the world. Everything can be learned and implemented entirely online
