True purpose of life (Finally discovered by me..)

After watching a video on youtube, I was inspired to write this email to one of my friend. Instead I'm posting it here to share my discovery with all of you.

I've been trying to figure out the things that are truly important in our life - things that matter the most above success,happiness, money,sex,comfort - those subtle elements of life that makes it worth living.

Things that you need to accomplish so that we could die a happy person any given day. I'm planning to write a book on this, if you have any imput I'll be glad to consider it.

(Backstory: Randy Paush is a professor in MC University - who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was told that we would only live for 3-6 months.

He made a famous speech called 'the last lecture' where he tells his realizations about life - and what actually matters to live a fulfilling life that he learnt during this turn of events.)

Here's what I've learnt about living a fulfilled life.. from everything I've read/heard till date including Randy's revelations that I discovered today ..

Elements of living Fulfilled Life, Things that matter the most in our lives :

1. Your passion: Find & Pursue your passion as much as you can

2. Your contribution : Contribute as much as you can helping others in whichever way you choose

3. Your Life partner : Find that someone, who's happiness matters more than yours

4. Your children : Be prepared to do as much as possible for your children - that will remain your greatest source of joy in your entire life.

Also remember;

5. Earning respect,love,trust and friendship of your closed ones is far greater than any awards and accolades

6. Death is your greatest motivator - You're only going to regret things you've not done, chnaces you've not taken. So do more, take chances with life and listen to your heart.

Any one or more of these can make your life fulfilled, I hope you find all of them!

I hope you guys find some closure about your own purpose of life, just like I did today. It's an ongoing process to learn and un-learn everyday..
