How I Improved My Productivity by 100% (Part II)

Here's another good quick tip on what I do to increase the productivity of my day, here's the link to Part I (No pictures in Part 2 )

Step 1

Write down your GTD (Got To Do) for the Day.
Note: You MUST write it down. Typing it over your computer doesn't work as effective as writing it down in a piece of paper.

Step 2

Write down a motivational quote in the middle or at the end.

Step 3

Place it right near you where you can view it as you are doing your GTD.

Where's An Example of Mine :-

GTD

1. Build 50 web 2.0s to Site ABC

2. Set up privacy policy & contact us page for sites that don't have it

"The results you achieve will be in direct proportion to the efforts you apply."

3. Set an email on my Case Study update to my email list.

Now go create yours now !

Good advice. Reminds me of psycho-cybernetics where you "feed" your unconscious mind positive thoughts to improve your productivity.

Another thing I like to do is imagine what it is exactly that I want - maybe a 3-month vacation in Thailand, or last year it was spending winter in South America (which I did). Focusing on the reward at the end is a big motivator.

    Thanks OP for sharing!

I do it also, so the day is not just passed me by
I've read that Richard Branson, the billionaire from UK, do this also... He always brings a small notebook in his pocket, and writes down tasks that he need to do that day. The small notebook become his guideline to spend the day.

Yeah, aiming for a goal is actually a very big productivity booster. I got mine drilled into my head. I might make a part 3 and add that into it.
