What must you give up to succeed?

Success isn't just about moving towards what you want.

You must also let go of what's in the way!

For example: If you're struggling to lose weight, I can tell you it's not just about how much you exercise, you must also give up certain foods that cause you to gain weight (i.e. carbs, sugar, etc).

Regardless of how much you exercise, you won't lose weight until you give up your attachments to foods that make you gain weight.

Similarly, if you want to truly prosper what must you give up? Here's some more questions to really consider:

What bad habits must you decide upon once and for all that you're done with them?

What disempowering thoughts must you stop entertaining?

Which disempowering people must you stop associating with?

What disempowering habits must you put to an end COMPLETELY?
So perhaps you know what they are... but are you truly willing to bring them to an end?

Are you willing to stop procrastinating? Are you willing to give up your fears? Are you willing to stop spending time on your cell phone or watching TV? Are you willing to stop wasting time on porn or merely browsing the web and pretending you're marketing?

How committed are you to success, really?

Think about this!

    Hey Jason, thanks for the reminder.
    I went full time some days ago and i have been developing new habits to fit my new routine. I think that the thoughts subject is not very important because when you are very focused on your goal and if you love what you do, nothing can stop you!
    The best advice that i can give is to take some time every day to focus on your goal and make your goal exciting!

    Great post, Jason!

    One of the things that I gave up was going out with friends in night clubs. It was something that I absolutely had to give up as going out one time basically robbed me of one day and a half. Preparation, going out, waking up late = 36 hours down the drain...

    Something that I highly recommend you guys check out is Eben Pagan's Wake Up Productive course. I'm not sure if it's live now or not, I got it like a year ago.

    As always, Eben organized everything so it's easy to follow. It can really change the way you look at chores, work and time.

    Accept your weakness and flaws. Work for them to improve it. Just think of a some great sportsperson. In a session his weakness may be exposed and hence that session becomes a nightmare for him. But in the next session he comes back stronger by rectifying that weakness and get success. So learn from your mistakes. Give up being very perfect all the time. Everyone is human being. So mistakes happen. But always try not to repeat the same mistake gain.

    Success cannot achieved until you give up some bad habits. Everyone has some such habits which are the big obstacle for the success of one's business. But when he let them for go and as a result he definitely succeed in his life. You described comprehensively what we should give up for this purpose.

    Lack of focus, procrastination and fear.

    When these 3 are removed things definitely change for the better.

    Bringing this closer to home i.e. for marketers, these are also the biggest reasons why people may know everything about a lot of things, have access to a wealth of information (this forum as an example), and still struggle to be successful and underachieve.

    Sounds harsh but it's true.

    Give up wasting time on non productive activities. TV, useless socializing etc.

    What bad habits must you decide upon once and for all that you're done with them? - procrastinating, multitasking.

    What disempowering thoughts must you stop entertaining? - fearful thoughts,

    Which disempowering people must you stop associating with? - negative ppl that only complain without doing anything

    What disempowering habits must you put to an end COMPLETELY? - you can just end a habit you need to replace it with a good one. So for instance - eating bad food replace with eating more natural/raw food.
