LOVE.. What do you think about it??

Love is a special gift everyone will experience it.

Does it last, can it last? Is it as important as breathing, should it be a top priority?

Just a thought, I am not in love or looking for it but it will be nice when I get it in my due time. I don't want my judgment clouded so its easy to block it and not let it in right now.

It is said that it helps one achieve great things and excel in ones career.......

    If you limit love to the narrow world of male-female relationships, then you'd have to be a bit sceptical, especially if you look at the divorce rates, and listen to those who are in such relationships.

    I think it's more instructive and enriching to look at it first as the primal energy, as a force that gave birth to and sustains all that exists. This force is always giving, without any thought of receiving. It is concerned with our ultimate good.

    I think it's better to think of love in terms of what we can give that would benefit the beloved. Those who desire to drink from love's goblet must be selfless. The benefits of true love are indescribably enchanting.

    It's a form of energy that will overcome hatred and evil doing in the world.
    With compassionate heart in everybody, the world will be a peaceful and wonderful place to live in.

    In my personal opinion, each individual soul in this world are searching for love.
    (The love here refer to romantic love, friendship love, family love, compassionate love etc..)

    The ways how an individual act upon situation all come down to the word 'Love'. The love for themselves, the love for others and the love for mankind.

    Love is everything!

    I have been in love for almost 3 years now and I love every minute of it. It is such a special feeling and it makes you stronger. You know that you have found your partener the moment the person who stands next to you will want you to be a better version of yourself.
    I never thought that love will be so important in my life, but when I least expected it 'hit' and now I am deeply in love.
    An advice for you is not to loose your head over the first person you think you love. You must be rational and responsible at the begining or else you can be disappointed.
    Best wishes and I hope that one day you will find someone who will love you for who you are, not for what others want you to be!

    I can't tell the difference from love and infatuation. Can't they be both one in the same. Yeah love is stronger as it is something that can grow, while infatuation can fade without some substance backing it up.

    a tendency to fluctuate. This is evident in one of
    the most ridiculous statements ever uttered which
    is "I love you but I'm not IN love with you". Seriously?

    I think love is a choice. I made a decision to love my
    husband till death, for better or worse, in sickness or
    in health. Period. If I follow my feelings of love, I would
    have packed up my knives and walked out a long time
    ago. Now I just throw them at him from time to time.

    Love shouldn't be narrowed down to just a male - female relationship. Love is the energy of God, which is the answer to peace, happiness, and everything in between. Love is the only thing that can get us through the hard time we are going through/will be going through on Earth.     The first thing that comes to mind when I see the word "love" is ambiguity. We use the word in too many ways. For instance, "I love coffee", "I love my mum", "I love my girl", etc. Love means different things in all these examples.

    But in general, love, I believe, is a great thing. It's certainly beats hate (which by the way causes the hater more pain than anyone else). I think it also feels better than indifference.

    As they say, "Love makes the world go around".

      Being able and unafraid to love is the greatest blessing anyone
      can have, for it's only by loving (however you care to interpret
      it) that the deepest joys of this World can be experienced.

      There must be many, many people who have been scarred by
      bad experiences during childhood, or violent relationships during
      adulthood, who find it difficult to have the courage to enter
      into loving relationships.

      So, if we do have the ability to love and be loved, surely we must
      go for it!

      Having said that, I think that, before entering into loving relationships,
      we must learn to respect and love ourselves first. This way,
      women would be less inclined to accept abusive relationships, men
      less inclined to accept women who are only after their money,
      and parents unwilling to accept unrespectful behaviour from their
      offspring.
