Don't ever give up! I spent 4 years figuring out how to make a profit online.

There was times I wanted to call it quits but eventually I found a couple people online that helped me understand how to make things work. My own personal "rags to riches" story.

So now I'm back here to offer my help too in thanks for all the support. I'll help answer any questions or review any sites or give ideas to anyone that needs help with their websites or turning a profit online.

How do you get over the hurdle? I feel like I know my website will be sucessful. The only problem is I have this giant almost Everest like obstacle to climb. How do you get over the feeling? I'm procrastinating and doing it piece by piece but I'm not moving like I would like to be. Thanks and good luck on future sucess

I think it's about persistence and taking small steps at a time, as JoeFizz says. If you feel like you're climbing Everest, then plan for those small steps a day at a time.

Instead of aiming for Everest straightaway, aim to reach the first 500 feet tomorrow, 1,000 the day after... and each day after that until you reach the top!

Also, never give up! If you slip a few feet along the way, keep looking up.

Remember too, if anyone can make it, why not you?

      And good luck!

The first rule: don't ever be afraid to ask for help.

I was lucky enough to do business with a couple people who took the time to explain how they got successful. One of these guys made $70k/week. We didn't talk much until I started asking the questions, then he opened up completely.

Once you see someone else doing it and can understand it then it's like a rocket taking off.. your brain just starts to think, "hey, if he can do it I can do it too!" and that's how you get over the hurdle.

edit: I guess another lesson from this is to surround yourself with people who are already where you want to be. then learn from them.

Geeze, 70k a week! Thats a good mentor to have. Out of curiosity, what is your general model? Authority sites, membership sites, news sites?

The guy that was making $70k/week was doing it with membership sites.

I've found my own little niche that is mostly driven by social marketing and lead generation.

I am a complete newbie and I admire you trying to help people get from where you started to where you are now. Internet marketing seems to be a lot harder in the beginning simply because I don't know a single person that does it. I hope to be successful like you one day and give back to those in need as well.

I recently picked up a site off a friend of a friend that had no clue what they were doing and I am in the process of switching urls from girliwantyou.com to getfreerelationshipadvice.com. I hesitate to say that I want to become an authority for this dating advice niche for my first website. But I always create lofty goals for myself.

I was wondering if you could give me a little guidance. I have been getting bogged down with tasks lately and really just going through the motions cause I am not sure what to do next.

I have some really good content on the way, I am really having problems with generating traffic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know that making Google happy was my first order of concern for a long time, but it never worked as well as I thought it should, and it seemed a read and instituted everything. Focusing more on Twitter and FB strategies started to shift the tide. While overall it was more work, I could chart my progress more effectively and I got more people to notice me.

I have been pretty successful in lead generation, but lord knows it wasn't easy. I think most people, myself included, underestimate the amount of work needed to get past the tipping point.

That's really sucks. Like you i also tried to make some cash through the net.. and after big effort I've managed to make really nice money, but only for two weeks, I don't know why but google kicked me out.. I did everything ok and legal! and the earnings stopped to come.
And here I am again looking for methods.. Pretty sucks

$70k a week is obscene. Not a bad teacher to have at all. Surrounding yourself with people like that vastly increases your chances of eventual success, without doubt.
