4 Steps to Taking Action - Overcoming Laziness

Saw this video on 4 easy steps to Taking Action and Overcoming Laziness.

Thought I would share...

Step 1. What do I not want? - Ask yourself what is going to happen if I don't take action! What do I not want to happen as a result.

Step 2. What do I want? - Ask yourself WHY should I take action, what do I want it return for my efforts.

Step 3. What is the next step I can take? - So just think about the very next thing you could be doing to reach your goal. It could be as simple as putting on your running shoes and walking outside.

Step 4. Repeat the Process!! If you take small steps everyday towards your goal you will get results.

Once you've decided on your goal, I believe in making plans and keeping to the plan. Don't make plans that are unrealistic and you cannot possibly achieve. Just break them down to concrete daily actions and stick to it.

Great tip, isaacburks9z. I know because I saw it firsthand in my life. I had been at the lowest level in my life and overwhelmed by situation of my own making, but like a phoenix rose from that situation and climb to the steps one step at a time. I'm still doing it, so to speak, improving, expanding knowledge one step at a time.

I really agree with a lot that has been said here, specifically about breaking it down to as many small steps as possible. Henry Ford said : "The largest task in the world can be accomplished if broken down into enough small steps"...he would know!

I am having to just take a step back for a minute and gather my thoughts. I am overwhelmed right now and need to just relax.

My brain feels heavy and overloaded. I'm not thinking clearly but I have work to do. So I am just going to step back from everything and mediate gather my thoughts. Once I'm thinking clearly again I will get back at it.
