My 30 day journey of making money online.... I wanted to share my story

Hey guys, so I was looking at making money online and whatnot.. and came across this thing called the "10k challenge" where the point is for 30 days, you follow a training course and see if you have what it takes to set up a business. The point of this post will be to write a report for every day and see what you guys think of it. I am not a internet marketer and I will not be sharing my quote unquote affiliate link. That's not the point here. The point is to SHARE my JOURNEY and whether I make it or not, have a reference point to go from.

Ok here we go:

Day 1

As I was looking though the 10k challenge, here is what struck a tone with me. It was not some pie in ths sky "make a million dollars every day" crap. Ironically enough, the name is 10k challenge lol but what sold me is the fact that a) its not going to be a make money quick scheme but rather a way of making SLOW money through hard work which EVENTUALLY will lead to you making fast money. You keep going until you make 10k per month. b) The author says that you have to give 35 minutes everyday/ and c) the fact that it's FREE for the first 30 days but not like where you have to give the credit card and they charge you after 30 days... NO SIR... its point blank free. You ENTER your email and BAM , you have the entire system at your finger tips. So I thought what the hell, I need to make money so I can focus on pickin up those sweet asian girls and I got nothing to lose, so I signed up. Notice, no credit card or anything required.

Anyways the first Day was mostly intro by Debbie P, the creator of the program. And the exercies were to create three new business email accounts from gmail. Nothing too hard. One for a business email address, cuz if you mix your personal email and business email, you get distracted... duhhh I get distracted looking at google lol so ofcourse I am gonna keep my business email separate. Then, she made us do some black magic voddo trick by closing our eyes and burning a piece of wood... NOT I am just kidding. She just made us sign up for "safelists" (whatever they are lol). I guess, I gotta do it right? So I signed up for two of them using my new emailes and thats it.

Ok not so hard for day 1.



Day 2


Probably the most excitng video I have seen. This one actually GAVE a plan on how we can make money from the 10k challenge. The goal here is to have a compilation of businesses working synergetically in order to bring in more people and have them do the same. How is this different from MLM? Well, for once, YOU avd everyone in your team has to succeed in order to get more people. And once you are successful, its not that hard actually to say to someone "hey look at me I am rich and making money, why don't you do the same with me". You have to make sure that everyone is succeeding in your team, they are not kidding about that. So, what you have to do is basically create your business system and have it so that when people come and look at it, they actually go "wow this guys or gal really has his stuff together, how can I be a part of that". Me, personally, I am just starting out so obviously I am not going to know the extent of my success until I get there, but I like my chances. It sure beats watchin porn all day lol. So after watching this inspirational video, we were told to work more on the "safelist" (which until now is pretty easy, literally like a couple of clicks). I hope the rest of the program is like that too lol.

Ok so as I am writing this blog, I got a client signed up..great!
Anyways, I refuse to dilute this blog with my business affiliate link because the point of this blog is to share my experience. If you PM me, I'd be more than happy to share my website so if you get it from google, thats fine too cuz as long as we are all succeding and making money, thats the most important part so we can get back to night clubs and pick up girls lol (asiians, i love asians lol)

Day 3

Today was another easy day. Just do some more "safelist" building mumbo-jumbo. I think I am starting to understand some of it. Safelists is where you sign up for literally email lists so you can build more clients or something like that. Not entierly sure how all of it works, but its only day 3... so I will learn more I guess. Either way, I am excited. I think today was an easy day.Just a couple of clicks and clacks and I was done.

    I think it's cool you have taken action, and I hope you will succeed in this course. It sounds a lot to me, that it's possible to earn so huge an amount in as short time as 30 days..

    I would really like to hear from your later in this thread or in a PM how Debbies course works.

    Day 4:
    Today was the most exciting and rewarding day of the challenge. It started with make a list of " why" do you wanna make money. So i did and here is what I got :
    Why do I want money?
    1) Pay off my direct and perkins loans
    2) Pay off my credit card bills
    3) Get my own place either in union square NY or else where
    4) Travel to korea or Japan
    5) Get a Lamborghini
    6) Move into a nice quiet place... somewhere close to NYC so I can visit it everyday
    7) Shopping H and M, hotopics, leather jackets, dress shirts, Aldo shoes, Necklaces, Rings, armbands.
    8) So I don't have to work fulltime and have freedom to pursue picking up girls
    9) Helping out mom and paying her back for all she has give me over the life time
    10) Helping out dad with his loans
    11) So my parents can retire comfortably and have their own place and enjoy the time off they finally deserve for supporting us for decades
    12) So I can return to Binghamton and feel proud of myself (binghamton is my college)
    13) So I can pursue a business in the offline world
    14) So I can expand my social circle
    15) So I can eat at nice places and even fast food restaurants on a daily basis.
    16) So I can get contact lenses
    17) So I can sleep in peace
    18) So I can get a gaming laptop
    19) So I can write a book and share my experiences

    After writing the list, we have to read it every day to motivate ourselves and onto the rest of the day which was cool because today was the day my business went live. We were told to go to bit.ly and shorten our business links to make them easier to read. I never knew thats what bit.yl did. I guess I learned something new. So we just take out created links from safelists and put them in bit.ly and make them shorter. Some of you may know it already but since I didn't, I am sharing it lol .After shoretning the links, you place them in safelists and PRESTO watch the magic happen, or not lol cuz it takes a while to build it. Anyways, since I put my business up, I have gotten about 50 unique visitors which is pretty good for a nobody who has no internet marketing experience. I doubt that I could ever do that on my own without the 10k challenge, so so far I have already seen success from it.

      Day 5:
      Today's exercise was somewhat easy. We had to make a Skype account, a google plus account and start to add our sponsors to them. I think the point here is to slowly grow your business. No stress hehe

      Day 6:

      One of the most important and challenging days of the program. The trainer began the video by saying that, today is the most important today and below is the lesson she gave which I also got from reading a great book called " the laptop millaionaire" by Mark Antastasi

      Financial freedom begins at 400 clicks per day. I repeat FINANCIAL freedom begins at 400 clicks per day.

      If you can drive that many clicks to whatever you are selling/marketing, and if what you are marketing adds value, you are on the right track.

      Lesson number 2 In order to make money, you have to add value. In order to add value in business, find people who have a problem and need help and offer them a solution that solves their needs .

      Anyways, today was a challenging day. This is the part where men get separted from little ponies lol. Today, the task was to expand your google plus business by adding 10 more people to your circle. I think google plus is lamer than the Boston Redsox (oooooooooooohhhh burn) but I guess I have no choice but to do it. After doing that, we have to sign up to two more safelists. By this point, I think i have a better grip of what a safelist does. For those who don't know, safelist is a semi-underground community for mostly marketers, where people just send each othe emails with their links. How is it different from spam? Well, by signing up to a safelist, you understand that the goal of the safelist is to share valuable offers between the members. Also, to avoid spam, there is a super awesome trick that I was shown by the author of the program which I am not allowed to share but to put it blountly, your safelist emails are never a problem if you know what you are doing. However, as an advertiser in order to send out your emails you have to earn credits and you earn credits by clicking on other people's emails. so it's basically like a zombie madhouse lol but after a while you get the hang of it. When you master it, you can send 100,000 emails per day in under 20 minutes. Crazy right? But even half a percentage of people sign up for you, you get the idea of the potential of this program.... I think it would be some sweet money if things go according to the plan.

      So moving on, after doing the safelists, you are basically done. Note, today I got 54 unique clicks to my website. That to me is a success because before starting the 10k challenge I would have never thought that i could get that many people to come to my website. That is sweet for me. If I can keep this up, who knows what the future holds =)

      O yeah, i forgot to mention another lesson learned . Marketing is ALL ABOUT DRIVING TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE. If you can have people coming to check your website/business/whatever it is you are trying to sell out, then you are on the right track.

      All this used to sound hard, but it's funny when I am actually doing it and I have a mentor to guide me, it's not that hard. I mean sure it has challenges, but they are so much minor compared to if I were starting a business on my own. It's great to have someone guiding you. Day 6 over.

      From personal experience, I believe, in most cases, it takes multiple years to make it big. At least it took me good solid 5 years to reach my goals but then i may be slower than many lol

    Day 7

    By now the process of running my own business is getting clearer and clearer. It's like a baby that's learning to crawl now. Today, we had to update our google plus circle, send more ADs in safelists and get more credits for our ADs. I still hate google plus lol.. I am only doing it because I have to. And the safelists are getting easier now. You just email people with your business offer, based on the number of credits you have. But sending email depletes your credits so you have to earn them again and you earn them by clicking on other people's business offers. You click, get the credits. Wash, rinse and repeat and then send your email out. Note: YOU are not obliged to do anything other than just look at their offers. The program's instructor actually HIGHLY discourages us to not pay attention to any other offers as we are clicking them because they are distracting and 10k challenge is an organic system that already has all the tools you need to jump start your business so no need to worry about other business offers.
    By the way, TODAY WAS MY BEST day ever in terms of gaining clients. I got 2 new clients, which brings my total to three. Geat minor success =)

    Day 8

    Another day, another working hour. But EVEN better than yesterday. Got four new clients, so my total is up to 7. Most people starting this program are not supposed to get a client until day 21 on average (which is totally fine by the way) but the reason for my sucess is because I am doing MORE than what the program requires me to do and putting in a great deal of effort. I think the 10k challenge so far for me has been pretty good. I mean, if you were to tell me a week ago that I would have 7 clients, 335 hits on my website with 308 unique visitors, I would not have belived it. So worst case scenario, the program does not work out, I still will have learned how to be a damn good newbie marketer =) Nothing great yet but I feel a sense of progress is being made. Who knows where it will take me. I hope I can inspire others to take action as well whether they take my 10k challenge (PM me if you want more info) or do something else but as long as its positive and inspiring and it helps you become more productive, GO for it.

    In terms of exercises today. we had to create an excel sheet tracking all our sources of Ads to see which ones are the most beneficial to our business. I was feeling a bit lazy to do it but when I saw the training video, I was inspired because by using the Excel sheet I can see exactly how my ads are doing across different platforms. So for today here are my stats across different safelists:

    Adstrooper 10381 ads sent
    effective safelist 3481 ads sent
    freeadsmailer 5384 ads sent
    globalsafelist 1440 ads sent
    listbuildingmaximizer 14469 ads sent
    mysafelist 3001 ads sent
    Total Ads sent around 36000 (too lazy to add all that up lol)

    So not bad for a newbie eh? sending 36,000 ADS FOR FREE. The goal is to eventually send 100,000 everyday. Imagain the traffic coming out of those ADS to my business. If even 1% of those people become my clients, i will be in great shape.
    So far, I have 107 clicks for the day... Granted I just sent out the ads(like 20 minutes ago) so not everyone had a chance to read them but by tomorrow I will have a better sense of how many people clicked from the ads I sent today.

      Day 9
      Today was another day of work. Feels good to set aside 35 mins a day where I am working. My focus level has started to get high and I am very productive when I am doing the work, which bleeds over to other areas of life and makes me a bit more confidence. Today, we had to do the following:

      • Add 10 more people to google plus (yawnnn lol... when will google plus be fun). Lucky for me, I just clicked on the people you may know feature so I was done with this in literally 10 seconds, thank god.
      • Join a new safelist. This one is called "got safelist". It works a little bit differently in terms of how you organize it, but the concept is still the same.

      • After signing up, write your business offer and e-mail it out. I don't think I want to say it (at the expense of spilling my secret but what the heck) the key is to make your advertisement stand out. . And it's not that hard to get SOME results. Ofcourse, it's hard to make lots of money but even if you are a beginner, once you can find a way to create value (like I am) then you are in good hands. Just to give an example, I am getting as much results as my business mentor. She started out two months ago, and I started out 9 days ago, yet we both have the same number of clients, ha!

      • After I signed up with the new safelist, the rest of the task was to email ads from all your other saflelists and write the results in excel to keep track. Easy breezy.... Day 9 over

    Day 10
    Hey fellow warriors… I am loving the feedback and some of you are also PMing me about my internet journey which is great but I can’t reply until I get 50 PMS so hold your horses. Not literally lol

    Anyways so I missed one day. Bad AJ… Bad Bad AJ.. but I am back at it again. Why? Well, I got two new clients even though I missed a day. Freaking sweetness. It’s so motivating to see your inbox with clients even though you did not do anything that day.

    On to the program exercises. Now I am getting the hang of things really well. Is the program the greatest thing ever since sliced bread? I don’t know… not until I have either made money from it once my business is established or not if it fails. But I am proud of myself for trying. By doing the program here is the list of skills that I have learned that have helped me a lot in the offline world as well:
    Email marketing, campaign writing, how to make ADS stand out (I am not kidding;after learning some of the strategies from the program, I applied them to my craigslist job search and I got three interviews in two days… although I blew off today’s interview cuz my interviewer was a douche bag hahahaha but the point being I now know what works better when applying for jobs in the real world). I could go on and on, but I am gonna stop here cuz I am tired lol.
    Also, one more thing, yes my blog is about the 10k challenge. If you don’t like this program, feel free to use other ones… go ahead the google toolbar is waiting for you to search and I will be glad if you did. Because you know why? If it makes you get off your lazy butt, if it makes you improve your skills like I have, and if it saves you time… then the world is a better place and we are all happy=)

    Now finally, onto the exercises. Today, first I had to do the google plus thingy again. Which is you find 10 new people to add. This is the most annoying part of the program. Maybe it will make sense later on, but I just find it tedious, and boring. O well.

    Next up, watch a country hippy youtube music video that the creator put in the training. Great lol. The song was only two minutes long and the crux of it was “you gotta give something to earn something”. The point of this song was to get you to realize that even though they have given you the entire system for free to try for the first 30 days, you have to put in a small amount of money (25 bucks) in order for it to grow. But I am not worried about that AT ALL because I have 10 clients so if even 2 of them do the work every day and reach my level, they will also pay which will go straight to my pocket. And come to think of it, there is not a single business or profession (except for retail which sucks) that does not require an investment. Doctors, lawyers, they all have to pay. Heck, I had to pay 25k for my liberal arts degree lol. So 25 bucks is a drop compared to that and I will be happy to pay as long as I am making profits. But I have a funny feeling that I will. And this blog will be a record proof of it. Either me making money, or me not making money but learning tons of marketing lessons in the process, which I will use (in the worst case scenario) to jump straight to the front of the unemployment line (does anyone know any SEO tactics for that haha kidding). I am writing a lot today because I am super pumped and motivated.

    Back to the exercises, after watching the country hippy guy, we had to join two more new safelists. Safelists are a cool traffic revenue stream and the more you join, the more people you can send your business offers to. So now I am in 11 safelists. After joining, we had to email our ads. I love this part.; this is where I get to write my own AD and customize it. The program gives you their own text ADS to use (if you don’t like to write) but me personally I love writing so I make my ads a tad better than theirs hehe. For example, here is the subject line that I use when I send my email out:
    “Let's banish the morning alarm clocks, the arrogant bosses, the morning commute and make money =)”
    This is my own creation and if I ever see it used by someone else, I will hunt YOU down and make you eat the spiciest food I can find , so consider yourself warned lol
    So yeah, I send the Ads out and BOOM, I am done. Which sucks because I am super motivated right now and want to do more but I guess free time for me..

      Wow man keep it up. Im a month into IM and I just dont seem to be interested in any of the mumbo jumbo these millionaires are selling on the WSO. I guess i need that coaching since all the ebooks dont seem to interest me and just suck my cash out.         There is def a lot of BS out there... I have read so many lame ebooks over the past few days and I am sick and tired of them.
        One of them I read, I kid you not, the author has it full of affiliate links which is fine as long as there is value but in the middle of the book where there's supposed to be the meat of the book he goes "do a google search". ARE YOU kidding me? Whats the point of your book then.
        I am going to (in the near future) write my own ebook and make it full of VALUE and content.

      Safelists... well yeah if you read my blog post I didn't get them either for quite some time but thanks to my training that I got, I got it. Plus the homework assignments and the motivation from the creator of the program is great.

      I am so glad that I can create value for other people, I am def going to incorporate this into my first ebook that I make =)

    I've never heard of safelists, but have just looked into them and they look like an interesting opportunity.

    Not sure they are compatible with what my websites promote, but I'm prepared to adapt my methods and products and see if I can make them work.

    They definitely look like something worth looking in to....

        Thanks for the offer. I am from Pakistan and most of the times I use skype to use contact with my clients. I can't reply to PM as my post count is less than 50 lol. So can you send me your skype id in PM.
