There Is No Substitute For Hard Hard Work!

Muhammad Ali was asked once in the seventies "How many sittups do you do?" His response was "I don't count how many sittups I do. I start counting when it starts hurting, when I feel pain that's when I start counting. Because that's when it really counts, that's what makes me a champion!"

This same philosophy applies for everything in life, there is no way around hard hard work. If you truly want to achieve anything in life then you are going to have to work hard for it. And honestly that's the way it is with everything in life. NO PAIN NO GAIN!

You know nothing that is good in life will come easy in regards to your goals and dreams. Me myself I am a big dreamer with visions that are as large as the milky way. However I do know that in order to achieve these big goals and dreams of mine that it is going to take a lot of dedicated focused hard work.

Now most people get discouraged when they find out that you can't get the rewards right away so they quit before they have a chance to allow the work to pay off. But what you have to realize is that laziness pays off now, hard work pays off later. Trust me Hard Work Pays Off! So you have to stay on task and work your butt off. Yes work towards that new car that you want, an improved fitness level, that raise at your job, or a better relationship with someone you love. Whatever it is that is going to be worthwhile to you is going to require hard work.

Anything is possible, as long as you work your butt off for it. Through my experiences in life I have found that the universe has a way of bending itself to the people whose work ethic prove that they are serious about what they want.

Partying, horseplay, fooling around, while you're doing this just remember that someone out there at the same time is working hard. Even while your sleeping someone is getting smarter, someone is getting stronger, someone is getting better, and someone is winning.

So work hard, go through the temporary pain that you will face and I guarantee that you will find yourself a permanent improvement.

Yes agreed, what you sow is what you reap, how much you receive also determine how much you give, so now be generous and starting giving.

It is really true that the harder that you work the luckier you get.

The more you put out there, the more likely something is going to work. While I do think you should spend time planning and not just blindly "Take Action" if you are working hard you will make your own opportunities

I especially like your point that while you are wasting your time some out there is getting stronger and better. This really motivates me to try and be that someone.

    Great post OP.

    Nice and inspiring post.

Everything you said is true, but I would add one thing to it: It's better to be a realist than a dreamer.

Dreamers tend to live in their heads while forgetting about their neighborhood or environment. They may achieve temporary success, but when the good times are over, the snap-back to reality can be very harsh.

To create a sustainable business online it's better to be a realist.

IMO, it's equally important to be a dreamer, especially in an industry like this. Rather, the better way to put it would be A Dreamer Who Takes Action.

Of course there is no substitute for hard work, but there is a fine line between working hard and working smart.

Understand your strengths and weaknesses and try to take on projects that match your strengths while delegate tasks that fall within your “weaknesses” category.

Don’t focus on completing a lot of tasks, work hard for the most important tasks that will have the greatest impact on whatever it is you are doing.

If you work hard and think smart then success will be yours

    Hi.

No Such Thing As 'Hard Work' .........

There Is Only Awareness Of Appropriate Accuracies Of Effort.
    or
There Is Only The Motivation To Discover Appropriate Accuracies Of Effort.

Because the phrase 'hard work', is used so casually regarding some level of achievement or satisfaction, also alludes to the fact that the phrase might be used less than smartly.

Using the phrase is like secretly, quietly, and subtly telling yourself to shoot yourself in the foot, while you publicly shout out loud with pride, that you are morally behaving like everyone should agree to behave, no matter the consequence. You are repetitively, advertising to yourself.

Really, look at the face in the mirror, and check the clarity of your 'perspective perception', If you are not a person who lies to them-self, and you immobilize any fear, political bias, religious belief, moral prejudice, social affinity, philosophical tradition, or cultural behavior, you might find it easier to understand the mental programming power of words.

Consider, this situation works the same way as positive affirmations...

Moral distortions in cultural academic agreement, have disallowed the understanding regarding the pervasive influential power of word-phrase potency.

The surface comprehension to this understanding, is readily recognized and observable through and in the use of advertising. This is why commercial messages are repeated, despite whether the offering is of value or not. Think about it.

The comprehension and understanding of 'temporal physics', 'harmonic symmetry', 'resonance', and a confluent-myriad of ancient inner technology sciences, will give evidence to this actuality.

And yes, the word lazy does come to mind, however, in terms of choosing to avoid this type understanding, because its vocabulary expression is morally unpopular to challenge, and actual effort to discover terms that convey the same content platform, but psychologically better, are not even addressed.

And yes, there are financially successful people who's casual expression of hard work translates into having to confront annoyances of other people, inconvenient scheduling, or labor cost elevations. Met and worked with them during my 'wallstreet' evolution days. Many really seemed to have had financial wealth handed to them. Their complaints were generally that there wasn't enough time to get done what they wanted, or, that it was hard work to get the junior brokers to raise more money. Its all 'relative'.

Consider; hard work doesn't make one a success, rather, appropriate decision or smart effort does.

    Think:
    • With 'Smart Effort', you can achieve.
    • Put your head down and make a 'smart effort', and you'll learn...
    • I'm gong back to the gym, and make a 'smart effort' to build some muscle...
Keep in mind, that the science of intent, and the science of association, can be equally potent, as regards the relative emotional disposition perspective expression, of an individuals psychological configuration.

There Is Only The Motivation To Discover Appropriate Accuracies Of Effort.

    Something to think about.

  • Don't fall into the trap of expending lots of energy but making no progress.

Break your dreams down into goals and your goals down into tasks, so that you can figure out where and when it makes sense to work hard. Hard work without planning = wasted effort.

Tis true. Too many ppl believe that their success will come overnight..and some even have the delusion that it'll come easy for that matter. Starting a business is the MOST challenging thing one can ever do and it really tests the limits of one's mental and physical capabilities.

To my fellow warriors, keep doing them situps, and when it burns, then start counting

      Hey good post!

I agree to a certain extent only...

I have spent my life working hard (avoiding the excessive anything...unfortunately!) but done well though...

However...being older has made me smarter, more experienced and more confident. I can reflect on my mistakes and one of my mistakes was working too hard!

As long as you work on the right things (80.20 rule), ...the things that will bring home the bacon, then you'll succeed.

Being a busy fool gets you no-where. Remember a lack of time avoids the World's pleasures...

      Just my own 2c...

I agree that hard work will give you success in life but we should keep in mind that we only not need hard work to achieve our dreams in life. We also need to be patient and persevere without this it hard work will bring us nowhere. No matter how hard we work if we will quit only just because we are being impatient and want results right away the tendency is we quit without even finishing what we worked hard for.

Hard-work in the right direction is important. I have seen many people working hard without knowing why they are doing it or what would be the real outcome of it. It's very essential to make the right decision, never be afraid of losing, taking actions and along with hard work no one could stop you from being successful.

I don't like the words hard work. I haven't figured it out yet, but I think some used to say work smarter.

I think what's key is finding something that really isn't work for you, something like a labor of love.

Didn't read the whole thing cos I don't have time atm, but totally agree with the hard work thing. Totally!

The only other thing to keep in mind is to monitor your hard work and make sure it is producing some kind of positive result that is pushing you ever so slightly forward to your goal.
