Who's your mentor??

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

I got introduced to personal development by a friend who gave me Jim Rohn's c.d "Take charge of your life", and his messages have transformed my life drastically, I've been introduced to many other mentors since then.
Was just wondering if anyone had any similar mentors entered there lives and made a difference.

  Anyway, my greatest mentor is my family. There were things that happened to my family and the strength and courage everyone showed in order to survive became my inspiration. I don't meet anybody or someone who makes that huge impact in my life except my family.

Since I was a kid. My dad is always there for me to give advise.
And even until my dad is still my coach in my career.
But I really love the opportunity to have a mentor like Tony Robbins and Bo Sanchez.

I have plenty of people which I categorize as being mentors for me. Nowadays I learn from so many different people.

In the beginning of life my only mentors where my nearest family. Now it's all specialists on their specific area, who teaches me how-to-do...

My Father,
He passed away last year, but his teachings stay with me the rest of my life.
Actually, I am teaching my children the same, so his teachings will live longer than me.

I learned to be true to myself, to be honest, to not let other people's opinion of me become my reality, to plan ahead, to get up if I fall, to keep trying, to never give up and to have worthy goals that not only benefit my but others as well.

Having a good mentor is essential to success. A mentor is someone you can look to, someone who can believe in you until you can believe in yourself. If they can do it, I can do it, that in itself is a great affirmation.

My Internet Mentor is Jay Kubassek under Jay in 2007 and made $3,000 my first month and haven't looked back since. He is also the one in Dec 2010 that suggested I create my own coaching/training product. Thanks JK !!!

I refer to Jimmy Rohn as "The Professor of Life"... I'm going to make sure my kids listen to him and understand what he is saying when they are old enough.

There isn't a person in this world that should not study Jim Rohn and his teachings.

Wow, what a great thread, I would LOVE to have a mentor.. Anyone who has the experience and is willing to take the time to kinda show me the ropes.. I've been on and off with this for awhile now, and REALLY want to make this my full time living so I can ditch the 9-5. Any takers out there for a highly motivated, technically capable, person with a drive to make it work? Just need some guidance, pointers, etc..
