"Opportunity shies away from need" Jim Rohn
Just watched my mentor again Jim Rohn, I love what he said about opportunities as there are so many people that approach opportunities with needs.
But like he said don't tell the soil your needs, show the solid your seed.
Don't ask the soil for an advance. The soil says "Bring me your seed, not your need."
I think Jim Rohn means "need" in the sense of entitlement. He extols the virtues of the attitude that says "Here is what I can do for you" rather than "Here is what you should do for me." Lots more potential in the former rather than the latter.
You will achieve a lot more success with the state of mind that says "Here is my talent, ability, and here is how I can perform" than the state of mind that says "Give me this first and then I'll do something."
