Four tips to become more focused

Hey Everyone!

So exactly one week ago I signed up for an Internet Marketing course and I was pumped. I had a notebook on my desk where I was writing down all the information to memorize it, I was highlighting key points, it felt as if I was back in school revising for some sort of test. I felt keen to work, I had drive, I had motivation, you get the point ?

Now take a guess of what happened next ?

Well, here's what happened next. I think it started the day after that, all of the drive, all off the energy and motivation I had for working went. It was as if some one popped the bubble in which I was storing all of my motivation.

This isn't the first time this has happened either, as I would guess that many of you also have this problem. Although today I have regained all that motivation and I am feeling pumped once again.

I just want to share with you how I did this in the hope it might help you in some shape or form.

The first thing I did was to reed the book "REWORK" (Big thank you to Justin Lewis for recommending this book to me), this is truly an outstanding book and it really helped me out!

The second thing I did was to read the book "Stop Talking Start Doing" by Shaa Wasmund. Again this book really helped me out, it did exactly what title states. I felt eager to work as soon as I finished the book.

The thrid thing I did was to complete one task that helped clear my head, now for me this was to tidy and organize my apartment. Although this sounds kind of corny, having a neat and tidy living space has really helped me focus on work.

Now then the final thing I did was to write down exactly what I was aiming for down on paper. I have read this technique so many times before and just completely ignored it without even giving it a go. After trying it, I can say that I am finding it a lot easier to see what I am working towards.

I just thought I would share this with you as I seem to feel more focused that I have ever felt before and you never know, it could work for you too!

Hope it helps, Joe Crosbie

    Hey.

Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us.

Lately, I have also had some trouble with focus and mindset. I have been listening to Tony Robbins on YouTube, I highly recommend that to make a shift on everyone's daily routine.

I don't know if has anything to do with it, but after a few days I moved my desk to a different place in my apartment and I feel like I can do much more work than before.

Let us know how you go.

Staying focused has less to do with forcing yourself, and more to do with doing what you love.

Consider elementary school. Students will squirm in their seats while the teacher drones on about one thing or another, but the moment the teacher turns it into a game that involves some building blocks and the classroom hamster, everybody's focused and excited to continue.

The point is that you need to find what you love to do in your business and focus your efforts on that. Anything else that's tedious and causes you to procrastinate and lose focus are the things you need to defer, and that's even assuming they're necessary steps to take in order to reach the end result you desire in the first place.

It was a very good idea for you to organize your apartment. There's tiny things that will nag away at the back of your mind, small distractions, and they will chip away at your focus. It's a great thing you've figured that out, because you're removing what's known as the "drag and friction" from your life by doing these things.

Clear out all the little things, get to your project, do what you love, and the focus and excitement will come naturally.

You're on the right path my friend, so keep up the good work.
