How do you maintain positive state of mind in the long term?

I am sure you know what I am talking about here...One always goes through a high positive state but then there is always a low negative state as well. How do you maintain that positive state in the long term?

    I can't wait to hear from others how they maintain their positive state at all times too.

    Many people say I am always in peak performance state, full of positive energy, very energetic and hardly get exhausted.

    I suppose I really enjoy what I do, everyday, every moment. I feel bless all the times. I am so blessed with everything that I have.
    So, by having Attitude of Gratitude and doing things that we really passionate in everyday can keep our energy up at all times

    Yea, life is full of challenges, not smooth pathway. BUT, I welcome and embrace all challenges, turn the disadvantages into beneficial condition.
    Imagine how we feel after we conquer the hardships, the Victory feeling is just awesome and can't be described in words, hahaha ....

    By focusing on Total Abundance and finding solution to challenges, rather than spending time and energy worrying about the doom and glooms can definitely help, right?

    Possessing a positive is no doubt, the most important thing to be successful.To achieve this, one should learn to enjoy things as they are - good or bad. Sometimes, such attitudes can also be instilled by yoga and other psychic therapies.

    me, I maintain my positive state of mind by just letting the negative feedbacks as a lessons to be learned. In order for this to work is that you don't need to be self conscious. You must be confident on what you do.

    I'm with Grace Jen on this one.

    Being grateful and having an "Attitude Of Gratitude" is a marvellous way of maintaining happiness. That's pretty much how I stay positive. There's a post on my blog titled "Gratitude Rock" you may be interested in reading.

    Another way of staying happy is looking at the positive in everything that happens. My personal mantra and something that I practice often is Napoleon Hill's quotation: "Every adversity, every failure, and every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit."

    Sometimes I turn to God when there's something that I want solved and I've never been let down. Something else that keeps me happy and positive is that I'm always making progress and improving personally and spiritually.

    So to sum up:

    1) Being grateful and appreciate
    2) Seeing the positive in everything
    3) Prayer
    4) Improving personally and spiritually

    And remember that it's normal not to be 100% positive all the time.
