9 simple but Great way to promote your site to the world

You might know how to promote your website but Do you know simple way is the best method to success? I will give you for what I'm always use and it's work all the time. You don't have to complete them all just pick some of them and you will see the difference of your traffic.

1) paid traffic - such as google adwords, yeah easy but costly too.
2) social bookmark - it's an old fashion technique but still work.
3) forum signature - go to the forum that talking about your market and participate with them, then leave your signature.
4) link exchange - yes, simple but efficiency. you will get traffic from their visitor too.
5) answer question - such as yahoo answer, help people find the answer and leave your link.
6) vdo - post some interesting but relate to your market. Very useful today.
7) share file for download - could be software, but better is great info that people needs to know.
8) friend to friend - just forward to your friend and tell them it's a great story, if they like they will forward to their friend on and on.
9) social network - THIS IS THE MUST for today. you will get the live traffic and potential back link too.
