Do you ever wonder why the Secret, Manifesting, and the Law of Attraction seems to work for other people but not for you.     I have to agree with Jerry that self-sabotage is the dirty-little secret in success and the absolute best way to achieve your goals and attract the success you so desperately seek by becoming an attractive person! I hope your book helps people finally breakthrough

    "Why 5% of you will Succeed when you do this"

    Concentrate on the good things.

    I know the 5% success rate doesn't look too good in a headline but telling 95% that they are doomed to failure if they don't ....... is not too encouraging.

    'Fail' is a word that I have chosen to delete from my vocabulary.

    I try to consciously monitor my emotions and, if I find myself feeling miserable, I know it's time to change my thoughts.

      Karen, your point is well taken and thanks for your post. The headline I used was following the headline writing copyrighting teachings of some of the world's top copywriters. That formula is PASA, or Pain, Agitation, Solution, and Action.

      Some of the top headlines use controversy and painful problems to draw attention. The article or email, or ebook is aimed at those who have the problem, and in the first paragraph repeat the problem and amplify on it.

      The purpose is to find people with that problem, and then offer them a solution, preferably a new solution, or at least an improved one. That was my approach in writing my ebook, to help marketers who are self-sabotaging themselves and offer a new solution.

      While I never use the term "failure" to refer to myself. The only way I could possibly fail would be to quit, and that will never happen. The fact remains that after 47 years in small businesses there is one statistic that seems to be universal, and that is that the failure rate among all start-ups online or offline is around 95%.

      It was this 95% who have the pain who I want to find and help with my ebook. If I can reduce the failure rate among online marketers, in my sphere of influence, closer to 90% then my mission will have been accomplished. I didn't put 5% in my headline, because the 5% who are successful don't need my help.

      I absolutely agree that negative thoughts will always produce negative results. I spent time in my book going over that in depth. On a personal note I have eliminated many words from my vocabulary such as; can't, try, maybe, impossible, etc. Words are things and do affect us greatly in our own self talk.

      The title of my ebook is, "Self-Sabotage, The Dream Killer" I arrived at that title after looking for and finding the root cause and a very simple solution that completely removed all causes of self sabotage in my life. That is what inspired me to write this ebook.

      agree with Karen,

      warriors need encourage to do good work, which comes from success stories.

      a single word failure can make negative impact to newbie.

    So I have to get rid of my self-sabotage in order to be successful? That seems to make sense. It is perhaps easier said than done though. However, I will succeed at what I am trying to do... eventually!
