What is your routine ?

Hey Everyone! After reading a post on here a few minutes ago about someone setting himself a challenge to get up at 5 am everyday for 30 days in order to create a new healthy habit. I decided to join in too and follow this challenge!

So I thought since I am getting up earlier than usual I will have more free time so why not create a new healthier routine at the same time? So I am asking you my fellow warriors to share on here your morning routines. What do you do to get yourself ready for the day ahead. What kind of exercise do you do? What foods do you eat?

I want to become more productive and more energized in my days! I believe that if I start the day right, my road to success will become a lot shorter!

I look forward to your thoughts!

I sleep around 7 hours a night and get up around 6:00 a.m. I make a pot of coffee and take the 30 second commute to work in my home office.

I work for around 2 hours cleaning up email, checking stats, writing content, and so on.

At 8:00 a.m. I take my dog for a 45-60 minute walk. When I get home I eat a bowl of oatmeal and 1-2 pieces of toast with peanut butter.

The rest of the day I work and goof off as needed. No need over doing it after 4 cardiac arrests, 3 angioplasties, and 2 heart attacks. Surprisingly having a full time Internet business has really lowered my stress and is extending my life.

Having a good routine helps as well.

Glad you have found something that is less taxing on your cardiovascular health! ((hug)).

      Hi Jeff Schuman,

Your life sounds very appealing, except the part of: No need over doing it after 4 cardiac arrests, 3 angioplasties, and 2 heart attacks . jejejeje.

Surely you've worked hard to get here.

I would like to learn from your path. Sounds interesting and useful.

      Have a nice day!

I've been conditioning myself to get up at 6am and brushing my teeth right after doing that I start working out. I've been doing this for the last 3 months.

I remember the first week I was doing that I would have to use an alarm to get myself to do these things at the time that I wanted to do them.

Now I don't have to do that at all, don't need an alarm to remind me of what I need to do or anything, I'm just doing it automatically.

Routines are what originally ruined my innovative ideas.

I plan slightly ahead in the future and plan out some projects, but ultimately I focus on right now. Things change constantly, so why stay in a single routine.

I used to stay dedicated to a routine, but once I stopped I started making bigger money and I don't plan on going back.

I feel that's because I'm comfortable with change and enjoy being in the moment versus being in the past.

My routine begins the day before,
when I write out a list what I want to get done online the next day..

Upon waking I do some stretching, and if it's not raining
go for a walk.. Break the fast and then do chores around the house and garden..

After lunch fire-up the computer, work online till it's time
      to eat..

After dinner another short walk and back online for
      about 2 and 1/2 hrs..

Turn off the computer, write out tomorrows list..

This happens on average 4 out of 7 days/week..

With the other 3 days/week, it's not so routine as life
sometimes has other plans for us as well..

That actually sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately for me, my sleeping schedule is out of control, so waking up in the morning is always hard for me. Feels like I never get enough sleep. The first thing I do is sleepily walk to the shower, and then a quick morning walk before eating & getting to work. Wish I was a morning person!

Great routines guys! Sadly I failed today at getting up at 5 am! Tomorrow is a new day and I know that I will succeed at waking up early!

The routine I have planned for tomorrow so far is:

5.00AM: Wake up and do some stretching/slow exercise
    5.15AM: Jogging/Intense Workout
    5.45AM: Shower
    6.00AM: Read
    6.20AM: Work
7.20AM: Get ready for my day/work
7.40AM: Bit more work until I need to leave

If I can follow this routine, my days will be so much more productive! Just knowing that I have already exercised and started work before most of my friends and family have even got up is an amazing feeling! I know this routine will help me on my journey to success!

    Thanks for sharing your routines!
    Have a great day

That is one way to get the job done! Just be careful not to risk your health just to achieve success! Think about it, what is the point in being successful with no financial issues but being told that you have worked yourself into the ground and now you are ill because of it! The whole point you have worked toward on your journey to becoming a professionally Internet Marketer would disappear!

      All the best!
