The reason why most people fail is they don’t SET GOALS, IMPLEMENT TOWARDS THE GOAL, and MEASURE RESULTS.

CONSISTENCY, not jumping on the latest fad or technology for fear of being left out

FOCUS, find your passion and work on your core competency

TARGET an ideal income to support your ideal lifestyle, and identify income sources

TAKE ACTION on projects and do it everyday to GET THING GONE

TRACK everything you do and everything you have

Keep digging, and don't be frustrated by the slow results at first. Keep digging till you hit the gold.

      Most of people who are unsuccessful never think of these 5 points but focus more on SEO/Promotion/Adsense. This applies to any business.

    Totally agree with you, Gerry. It's not those first items on the list because they are not within your control. It is certainly the last items on the list because they ARE within your control.

    Once we realize that we are responsible for our own success and that we do have the power and control to direct our actions, then we will make progress towards our goals.

    You have given great points on how to make money online. I just want to add that Internet marketers also need determination and motivation to keep them going in the long run.

    Sometimes, when we don't make enough profit or sales for awhile we tend to lose the focus or consistency that we have had in the beginning.

    Yes, the mistake I did in the past is getting discouraged when I don't see results in one area I'm working on so I jump on the next fad or hype and dig another hole.....

    As they say, you should be prepared to not make any profit in the first two years of a business, and if you keep working on it with FOCUS and CONSISTENCY, you will be making gains and lift off!

    Target a GOAL, FOCUS on your passion, then be CONSISTENT, and GET THINGS DONE and you will SUCCEED.
