Today's Secret Scroll Message (Rant Enclosed)
I'm on Rhonda Byrne's list, and usually enjoy her stuff.
This one just came out:
"Do you know that as you try and work out "how" your desire will come about, you are actually pushing your desire away from you? As you try and work out "how" you can make your desire happen, you are sending a huge message to the Universe that you do not have your desire. And if you're not emanating the exact frequency of having your desire within you, how can the Universe possibly find your signal to deliver your desire?"
I call BS on this one. Definiteness of purpose is more important than a plan of action, as plans can and often should be changed but you should remain focused on your goal. But a plan of action is important, and doing so you are working out the how, and in so doing are sending a message to yourself and everyone that your goal is on it's way to you and you on your way to it.
I like a lot of "The Secret" and "Law of Attraction" material, but every once in a while something like this comes along that I disagree with and irks me a little.
